Lately I’ve been reminded about how much I love “me time” aka going to the gym. Yes, I go to improve my physical health and to achieve my physique goals but also because this is how I deal with life’s madness 😌♥️

Tuesday nights sweaty shoulder lift after an 11 mile day at work💦 mid set my camera storage filled up so I only got half the video but you get the gist. Upright rows, superset with barbell front raises alternating between probated and supinated grip by sets. Boulder shoulders coming soon 👊🏼
Had some fun with my hair today, and I'm still getting used to these black roots. Just trying to shake things up and branch out.
Today has been a bit rough for other reasons, but I'm hoping the long weekend clears my busy mind and lets me relax and offer myself more wholly to others.

Back is coming along VERY GOOD. This picture was taken this morning and the second one was taken a few days ago for update pictures for my coach. I am slowly gaining weight but it just looks like I'm getting leaner. My body is just a constant machine, I'm eating like a mad man and still have a hard time trying to gain weight. All of us ectomorphs know the struggle.

This is my first full week back in the gym and back on my official routine ! Want to know what I’ve been doing for almost a month? Taking a break, enjoying life, and eating whatever I wanted. I worked out when I could or when I felt like it, but let me tell you, it felt sooooo good to take a break ! Now my head is clear and I’m hungry for gains. Life is life ! I’m a mother of two, working a full time job, and juggling so many other things! Am I a quitter ? NO! I know what I need to do to get where I need to be. So I won’t stop until I’m there. If you can’t support me, then move over. If you don’t agree with me, great, because your opinion is just that, yours ! People all the time tell me that they don’t get it. They don’t understand why I do what I do in the gym or for a diet... but I’m not working for them or what they think a “female” should look like. I love eating a diet full of nutrient dense foods wether I'm prepping for a show or just living life. I train and eat to nourish my body and mind and truly feel good for LIFE! Not just the stage❤️ Remember your why. If you slip up- it's okay !! It's okay to enjoy yourself sometimes - just keep moving forward and remember when you say "no" to something; you're really just saying "yes" to something else. 🔥 Make sure what you're saying "yes" too aligns with your goals 💪🏻 @ironbarbietraining
