I would like to dedicate this sunset to #Nurses everywhere. Whenever we have a hospital procedure or hospital stay, we often encounter caring, helpful and dedicated nurses.
I'm specially thankful for the nurse in charge during my daughter's Port placement. She asked about every single one of my daughter's rare conditions before the procedure.
After the procedure when my daughter fainted and lost all power to advocate for herself this nurse talked to the doctor on call and explained my daughter's conditions to him. She also told him to trust my daughter's judgement on what was best for her.
This nurse advocated for my daughter in front of a doctor making a difference in my daughter's care. I wasn't there, so I'm very glad this nurse was caring and humbled enough to take the word of a young person because she recognized and admitted my daughter knew more about her conditions and body then the medical team.
In another occasion, during a hospitalization a nurse brought my daughter warm towels every 20 minutes because it was the only thing calming her abdominal pain.
We've had nurses smile and make our day.
We've had nurses go the extra mile.
Nurses work hard and run the place. Doctors would be lost without nurses.
#ThankYouNurses you guys make a difference everyday!

When I was in school age, I love collecting paper dolls and dresses them beautifully with hand drawn dresses made by me.
Now, I'm living my dream. My little bakwits (evacuees) are trying these old clothes donated by my Negrense friends. And I'm happy to dress them with it. Just like the little dolls I used to play with when I was a young kid.
