Here’s the thing about “sleeping masks,” they always give you the option to wash-off or keep it on overnight. I regularly opt for the latter. If it’s good for my skin and I am not told otherwise, I’m keeping it on as long as possible.
Once you get a waft of its sweet watermelon aroma, you’ll understand my stance.
Why is this stuff so great?
Watermelon extract is rich in vitamin C, amino acids, and lycopene. It’s also said to promote cell regeneration, moisturize, cleanse and exfoliate.
In addition to the watermelon extract, this sleeping mask also contains hydrating Hyaluronic Acid and AHAs. Which are two great ingredients for overnight restoration!
Needless to say, the sleeping mask lives up to the hype.
A little goes a long way with this product, and you can feel it take effect immediately when you glide it into your skin. You would think that a product labeled as an overnight mask would be heavy and greasy. However, this is far from the opposite. My skin soaks it up keeping my face from feeling sticky or tacky, which means it will stay on me rather than pampering my pillowcases with a treatment. Also, who doesn’t love going to bed smelling like watermelon jolly ranchers?
