Had one of the worst rounds of my life yesterday. I had no clue what was going on. No clue where my swing was. Starting to ask my self why am I out here. I'm no good any more too old..... typical woe is me golfer stuff. I hit this shot. A 6 iron to about 8 feet. Like what!! Then did it again 2 holes later with a 5 iron. Did not convert on either birdie. But those shots were enough hope to finish off the day. I used to would have thrown away the card. This time I kept it because every failure teaches us something. Went to the range today and after 20 minutes figured out exactly what was wrong and boom I was right on line and dropping some bombs out at 325 area. I'll get to my point you will struggle some days but you have to see what the struggle is trying to teach you. #golf#golfing

Doing some good mornings, great for strengthening the core and lower back muscles. Try doing 3 sets of 12-15 reps once or twice per week and you’ll see what happens to all of your lifts.

1) “COMPARISON is always the beginning of the death of self-love.” I know we all get wrapped up in this. How can we not? It’s in our face, CONSTANTLY! There will always be someone that is “seemingly” better, smarter, more successful, fitter, stronger, prettier, nicer… etc. at something that we want. That’s just the hard facts of life. But ya know what? Those people are feeling the same way about someone else.
So how do you get out of that pattern? A very amazing human and friend gave me some of the best advice that has changed my life and the way I look at and treat myself.
R.A.I.N. = Recognize. Allow. Investigate. Not identify with.
When I was able to Recognize how I was talking to myself, Allow that recognition to sit for a minute, Investigate it and look at it, but then not get wrapped up in Identifying with it, it has been much easier for that feeling of comparison or lack of self-worth to fade away and keep moving forward.
This isn’t about never having these feelings ever again. That’s not realistic. This is about not letting those feelings define you or effect you love for yourself.
I believe homebased network marketing businesses put a lot of pressure on themselves. They feel they are not good enough, what are people going to think about them etc..When in reality you have no idea how much control you have over your own destiny. You choose who you want to work with, you choose the hours you want to work, and in the end you choose how much money you want to make. You can do this! @hundreds.empire photo credit

7 years ago, somebody lent me their P90X DVDs. I was 29, I didn’t have any kids, and I was a runner. 🏃♀️ I went to the gym religiously. And guess what? P90X kicked my butt every single day. 😓 I finished that program (all 90 days!) and felt like I was in the best shape of my life. But P90X was, by far, the hardest series of workouts I’d ever done. 💦 *
This week I started P90X again, just to see if I still had it in me. 🤔 And much to my surprise, it hasn’t been nearly as tough as it was 7 years ago! 💪🏻 I’ve kept up with the workouts, and have had the endurance to make it through the 60-minute daily workouts with gas left in my tank. 🙌🏻
💡 It has made me realize that, although I haven’t set foot in a gym for more than a year, my at-home workouts are working!! 🏅Whether the workout is 22 minutes or 52 minutes (or more!), whether it’s yoga or kickboxing or strength training, I’m living proof that working out at home can truly get you into the best shape of your life. ❤️ I feel good that I’m taking time for me every day, and I’m so motivated to take it up another notch as I continue to push play every morning. 👍🏻

#Weightloss does seem to give us back a few more years of youth. Bros RJ 🐙 is 34, and Kyle 🐦 is 29. My son Derick 👽 is 20 ❤
Having a more positive outlook in life, as well as doing our best to maintain a cheerful disposition also helps with our overall sense of well-being. There will always be tough and tougher days, but they too shall pass.
We all followed the same regimen. We watched what we ate, and burned calories when we could. Kyle has the fastest metabolism among us 4. Even at a daily consumption of 4500 calories, he still struggles to gain weight. The perks of being a busybody.

The boys are pretty much at a #healthy BMI now. The #weightlossjourney is primarily mine. They were just wonderful companions/motivators/encouragers along the way. They did pretty well though. A collective weight loss of 206 lbs! Not bad at all ☺
If you add my 160 lbs lost to the mix, then FitFam lost a total of almost 370 lbs! Yay us!
The effort is ours alone, but it helps to surround ourselves with positive-minded people. And if folks won't be supportive of your #fitnessjourney , then OMG it's time to find better friends 😅

Finding time to work your business daily can be a huge challenge. When you are your own boss, you can excuse yourself for any reason. .
If you miss a day, you might as well have missed a lifetime.
In promoting your social media business, you are fighting a very short attention span of the your audience. (If you don’t believe me, quote me on a post you read on Facebook yesterday...or at breakfast this morning LOL) .
To stay relevant, you have to be present everyday. If you cannot show up, let your followers know in advance! This shows you take their time and attention seriously, thus they take you seriously! It’s a mutual relationship.
And if you are REALLY struggling for time, take a hard look at your day. Do you watch tv? Do you have “mindless scroll time?” Do you sleep in?
Sounds kind of harsh, but if your business was a restaurant, you’d show up, right?
This is not any different. .
Find the time...power hour, commercial breaks, kids at school..make it happen! I promise, your “why” will come to fruition that way!

Haven't worked out in 2 weeks and I'm starting to feel "soft" lol. Come Monday it's time to get back on that workout and eating right grind. Just can't figure out which #beachbody program I wanna do? Thinking of doing a round of #22minutehardcorps or #insanitymax30 we shall see!
