It was tough to get started today. Cold, long to-do list, back is sore from working on drywall, and I ran out of KT Tape for my shoulder. At this point my shirt should have said "oh, forget it". As much as I wanted to crawl back under my blankets, I didn't. I got it done. Once I got going I just kept going. Home workout ✔️ Core De Force Class (amazeballs by the way) ✔️ and then I busted out some shoulders and arms (P90X on BOD) before I left the gym 💪
All that and a lot of today's to-do list is done because I now have the energy and awareness to be efficient and productive rather than distracted and lazy. There are many reasons we should start our day with a little sweat therapy! 👊

The #1 indicator of "Are you using enough weight?" is if you can maintain proper form for all the reps.
Upright rows for me are done progressively, starting lighter to heavier and then heavy to lighter.
Your elbows should be close to level with your chin or ears depending on flexibility.
Pictures like this help me make sure my form is good, because form equals power and efficiency in your training.

SAY WHAT!!??? I am currently on day 24/30 of this program and I have made at least 20 videos! I am proof that I do NOTHING special like I mentioned in my post the other day - I just SHOW UP. Consistency is the key to success. Now don't get that confused with perfect because this week coming back from my sister's wedding felt FAR from perfect but I still showed up.
What if I quit making videos after a few days? Or heck -- maybe even quit the program?
What if I didn't even start in the first place!? Forget about everything else. Just focus on showing up every single day - no matter what that looks like!👊🏼 #letsdothistogether
Here’s your dose of #mondaymotivation with a pic from @fitwarrior_sports. It’s so tempting sometimes to give it all up and just eat pizza and fries every night. Trust me—I really want to do that sometimes, and being a graduate student, I’m surrounded by friends who live that lifestyle. It doesn’t work for me though. I just keep pushing and remember what my goals are. Good things come to those who work their ass off. 💪🏼
