Why do I need to wear GRIPPY SOCKS for Xtend Barre classes? The first reason; they will help you maintain proper foot placement! This is VERY important in Xtend as it will help to ensure you are using the correct muscles & therefore getting the most out of your 55 minute class! โ €

They will also help you keep your balance, & prevent you from slipping (as we have wooden floors). Many of our exercises are done in releve (heels lifted) - the socks prevent you from sliding & help you to lift equally into the balls of your feet, staying connected to the floor. โ €

FOLD OVER Series at the barre this morning using the #xtendbarre stretchy band around the legs for a little more of a challenge. In this series we focus on working the glute muscles, to strengthen the hip and tone the lower body.
