I ended up doing some cooking with butternut squash the other day as I finished the clean up earlier than the time I set myself. This delicious mix is 250g of roasted butternut squash, 1/4 packet of craisins, 3 cups of cauliflower rice, 2 egg whites, 1 tsp of Cashew Parmesan cheese, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, Himalayan salt & drizzled with some sugar free maple. It reminded me of Christmas 🎄so many sweet & savory elements! 😋🍯🍒🍠

One of the many reasons I love working with athletes is because they are always willing to try new things as long as it gets results. 2nd week at this weight. Hitting a plateau is super frustrating, it feels like you're not being rewarded for your hard work. The thing to remember is our bodies are extremely complicated, they're not machines that easily have a quantifiable output like an engine of a car. We have way more variables to consider, like hormones, muscle mass, fluid levels, infection etc. The list is almost endless of different things that can affect your weight when we jump on those scales - we're organic not mechanical. When you're losing weight remember you can't see what's going on inside your body. You'll be getting fitter, stronger, healthier. So a lot more is changing than normal, adding even more to the variables. The worst thing you can do is let it defeat you. Weight isn't everything. The frustrations are real, but so are the changes you're body is going through 👍

3. Re-evaluate your sitting posture
Your spine has a series of natural curves, and if your typical sitting posture does not support these natural curves you may damage your sensitive spinal nerves.
If you have a job that involves a lot of sitting, take time to make sure your office chair and desk are ergonomically aligned to support your spine. Additionally, consider working at a stand up desk or sitting on an exercise ball for a portion of the day. Last but not least, it’s a good idea to stretch and walk around every half hour.

Proud of this girl! First time lifting 70kg on a Deadlift and she only started in June, 4 months ago. Nice lift with a full and some partials.
