What is freediving? I’ve had a lot of people ask me this recently. .
To me, freediving is that moment before you dive where you clear your mind, focus on your breath and feel the water around you. It’s living 100% in that moment. It’s letting go of all fears, stresses, expectations and just being present. .
It’s diving down and feeling your body respond to the pressure as you enter a different world. It’s the ability to accomplish things you never thought were possible and continuing to learn and grow as you expand your comfort zone (😉). It’s meditation and exercise for your body and mind. It’s a time of reflection on any internal struggles/insecurities. It’s raw, real, humbling and therapeutic. .
It’s the time after the dive when you resurface and feel completely at peace...free of all stress or worry. It’s about the experience, internal and external exploration. It’s purity and it’s my passion.
