On this day in 2002 the video game JAMES BOND 007: NIGHTFIRE was released. A classic Bond game with a great story, visuals and soundtrack including the first ever theme song for a Bond game. It received the Platinum sales award and was praised by critics and gamers alike. #nightfire#jamesbond#videogame#playstation2#xbox#game#007 . Our addition to this post is that it featured Australian Intelligence agent Alura McCall as part of the plot and missions
I bounced off Summon Night 6, because I simply didn’t have the patience for its mediocrity. Still had a #jrpg itch, so I dug into the backlog and came across Wild Arms 3, which I had picked up cheaply when GameStop was clearing #Playstation2 games and also bought again on a whim when it came out as a PS2 classic on PS4. This game is great! Instantly interesting characters, story and world. Great battle system and none of that lazy 3D-models-doing-stock-animations-in-front-of-a-2D-background that modern cheap JRPGs are doing. Check this one out if you already played #Persona5 or #finalfantasyxv and are looking for a great rpg that isn’t a cliched moe-fest.
If you know me in person, you will know that Im a big fan of Jak and Daxter and always had been one. People always wonder whats my obsession with this game or the main character Jak. When I was 5, Ive always been in my fantasy world, I didnt have much friends at the time, my brother was always with his friends and didnt care much about me and my sister is in her own world. I was so happy when my mom brought home this game that said "Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy". I played it for hours, and the main character, Jak, I always thought he was such a badass and I wanted to be like him. Till this day I still play the collection. Jak made me feel like I can do anything. This game will forever be my childhood, and the reason why I want to be what I want to be, and what I am today.
