and make the waves your home. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
Have you ever done a random act of kindness? Let me know about it below. ❤️ In LA there are always homeless people walking the streets. Every once in a while I’ll go into the supermarket to buy food and buy something extra to give to one of them. I gave up on giving them money after one of them complained that I only gave him $1 and it wasn’t enough. 😂
Is it me or is there a reason? Follow @m.mustun for more.
She’s never been afraid to show who she really is, and that includes loving people with everything they have. Her entire life, she’s fought for others. To be loved and to love. She puts herself out there, even when there’s no guarantee. Even when there’s a chance she could walk away hurt.
She is one of the strongest girls you’ll ever meet. But you wouldn’t know that at first glance.
The strongest girls don’t put up walls. Instead, they wear their hearts on their sleeves. They’re givers.
Their softness is a sign of true strength. It takes a lot to trust in this world. It requires courage and thick skin. Not everyone is brave enough to be vulnerable. Not everyone tries again and again. But she does. Her optimism shines through. Her kindness can melt even the hardest layer of ice.
The strongest girls care deeply about others, but they don’t solely rely on other people’s opinions. They listen to their gut and their hearts, and even if it doesn’t make sense to others, they always go for what they want. They don’t play games. They don’t care if they text back too quickly or seem too eager.
It would be easier for them to hide. Hide from their feelings. Hide from others.
But that’s not who they are. They’re not meant to hide from anything.
The strongest girls get back on that metaphorical horse. They brush themselves off and stand up. They are built to love, even when it feels intimidating.
The strongest girls aren’t afraid to love, and to give it 110%. And if you’re lucky enough to meet a girl like that, don’t mess it up. Because you’ll never meet someone that strong, that resilient again.

I posted the challenge on Mirakee and here's what you need to know about it:
Write a story using the prompt above. The prompt can be used anywhere in the story. Although I think a short story would be great, I believe that a great story shouldn't have any constraints like word count.
Rules (this is me resorting to jargon because these aren't rules exactly): 1. The story should be in First person Point of View - which is basically someone telling you his/her story (like the prompt)
2. You can use multiple narratives though, if you feel that would be better.
3. It would be great if you can write something about the nightmare that he/she experienced but it's not mandatory.
4. You can twist the prompt in any way you want as long as it retains its essence.
I'm going to repost the entries that are great. Plus, THE BEST ENTRY WILL WIN A BOOK. The book I have in mind is 'The Shining' by Stephen King (in case you've already read it, we can go for another one). So if you're interested and would like to participate, do post your story with #tcc_nightmare and tag me in your posts. Last date to submit would be 20th December. Those who aren't on Mirakee can DM me regarding the same.
I'm tagging a few people here. If you think it's interesting and your followers might be interested, you can repost it. So here we go:

She was a rainbow,🌈 but he was color blind.
She was the silver lining in his skies.
She brightened up his life.
She undarkened his nights.
He still didn't make light of the situation.
Her love was unwavering towards him despite his current situation.
He caused the clouds to go grey and hang over her head and her eyes to bleed a saline solution.
The rain, lighting, and thunder came... It was there all along.
She showed up.
She was always a rainbow☁🌈☁ in his sky, but he was too color blind and she loves bright colors, so she left him behind.
Besides, who's eyes don't light up when they see a rainbow ☁🌈☁in the sky? ❤...letting you go has been such a breath of fresh air.
Tell me again, why did I care? ☁
The vibrations emitted by technology slowly chip away at my soul. Driving a car over lanes of grey asphalt, surrounded by deadlocked traffic and concrete buildings, isolates me from my natural state. Staring at computer, phone and tablet screens, somehow simultaneously, makes my eyes melt into their sockets. Nuking leftovers in the microwave kills both the flavour and nutrients of the food meant to give me sustenance. After I peruse social media profiles, taking in the perfect lives presented by acquaintances, strangers and celebrities, I can’t fight the gnawing feeling of being less than. Only in the depths of the forest does my soul awaken, as I embrace a towering Redwood who sends pulses of the earth’s energy throughout my entire being. I get lost in an ancient oeuvre, pages rife with the smell of days forgotten, intoxicating me with melodrama at every turn. Engaging in spirited and profound conversation with beloved family and true friends lifts me to higher planes of love and wisdom. I plant seeds and sow crops in my garden, foraging for roughage to garnish my farm fresh meal. I am invigorated with the strength to conquer any obstacle life throws at me with every sumptuous bite. I am a Luddite on Instagram.
Do you feel more alive with or without technology?
