Social media can be a funny thing... obviously we love to show only the best parts of ourselves and the most wonderful moments in our lives.... But I like to keep it real. .
I have been going through an extremely hard time currently in my life and it has been taking a toll on my mind and my body. I have been severely stressed, sad, and not taking the best care of myself. I have been so stressed and sad that I have not had much of an appetite. It hit me on Friday that not only do I not feel healthy mentally and emotionally, but in my body as well. I truly looked at myself, seeing someone I don't recognize and I need to change. Not only for myself, but for the people I love and care about, so I can be a better wife, friend, daughter, and human.
I need to focus on the positive and remember how lucky I am to have an amazing, loving, caring, understanding husband; kind, generous, supportive friends who care about me. So to get myself on the right path agaib, I'm going to focus on getting myself healthy in every aspect of my life. .
Thanks for the patience and love friends and family, it means the world to me. .
We called this "dinner plans changed yet again so what can I find for cheap at Target and what do we already have in our fridge to cook before friends come over tonight" dinner 😁
Roasted Brussels sprouts (from a planned dinner earlier this week that didn't happen), and turkey burgers that I found on sale at Target for $2.50!
This was thrown together in about 15 minutes that we wolfed down a half hour before our friends came over for game night 😆
