As a busy mom, I think it's so easy to get caught up in the daily tasks of #momlife that A) We forget to eat or B ) We have no time so we grab junk and run out the door.

Mom life sometimes has me all 🤷🏻‍♀️ but making sure I'm not running on empty is essential so I can keep up with a very busy 16mo old boy.

I am feeling SO much better being a week grain free. As some of you know, I was a participant in a test group and the meal plan was GRAIN free. I was 100% on point, got rid of SO much inflammation, and felt incredible for nearly 4 months.

After those four months I let a few grain-filled indulgences slide, and for me, I have no self control. One indulgence turns into ten. I'd purchase one item for Maverick (i.e. whole wheat bread) and would put PB on it. A little for him, a little for me, and before you know it, I was eating two pieces of peanut butter bread even though I wasn't hungry or even though I had already eaten.

I do NOT have celiacs or a gluten intolerance but for me, gluten is a true product of inflammation. I feel better with LESS inflammation in my body and for me, it's mine over matter.

Grain free? So what does that mean? For me, it's SWEET POTATOES galore. I'll share how I make them on my business page later today.

FINALLYYYY! 📄 So today all 3 of us was up, showered, dressed, fed & out the house by 8.30am 💪🏻👊🏻 WINNER 👪👨🏼👱🏻‍♀️👶🏼However I was shattered so Dan played Fifa this afternoon whilst Oaklee & I had a nice afternoon nap together on the sofa ⚽️🎮 We had the standard Ham salad sandwich for dinner with Campfire stew all ready for our tea 🏕🔥 can't wait to have more exciting dinners when Dan goes back to work!! Everything felt really good, considering another 5x wake up night and taking Max's temp every 30 mins (he was hovering around 99.8/100 following his vaccinations). This is #momlife though- and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Today I had to fill out an form and the question “how often do you exercise?” came up. I choose 5-7 times a week........it kind of got me. Like, it didn’t sound true and then I realized it totally is now. THAT is who I am now. I’ve never in my life been the person that works out 5-7 times a week. I’ve been the person that thought about doing it but made excuses and more realistically worked out once every week.....or every 2 weeks. 🙈

Today I had to fill out an form and the question “how often do you exercise?” came up. I choose 5-7 times a week........it kind of got me. Like, it didn’t sound true and then I realized it totally is now. THAT is who I am now. I’ve never in my life been the person that works out 5-7 times a week. To be honest, sometimes having faith & trusting is EXHAUSTING. Sometimes when MY plans don’t go as planned I want to quit everything all together.

The number of people I come across on a daily basis who don’t know where they’re going or what their purpose is blows me away. 
This morning I woke up & found myself feeling like one of those people. 
Then there it was. RIGHT in front of me as I started reading my personal development. 
You need to ignore what everyone else doing & achieving. Your life is about breaking your own limits and outgrowing yourself to live YOUR best life. You are not in competition with anyone else; .
Plan to outdo you .. not other people.

Ask yourself the following. - Why am I here?
- How do I feel called?
- Where am I needed? - What do I need to focus on right now?
- Is my mind filled with positive or negative?
- How am I helping others?
- What am I doing to help myself?
- WHAT IS MY PURPOSE? 
Do you know the answer to those questions?

If yes — then get to it! You have a meaning and a calling only you were made to see through. The people in your life need you. The world needs you to be the change. And if you answered no, it’s your time to figure it out. We all NEED to make a change. We NEED to stop complaining with our eyes covered and living in fear of judgement, disregard, and complacency. We NEED to stop pretending we’re okay when we’re not. Time to SEEK HIM, to be honest with ourselves & to do more.

Ahhhhhh! I'm feeling a little nostalgic remembering this time last year when the Hot & Fit Deadline was fast approaching. I wasn't even going to participate with my responsibilities as a Mama to crazy 1 year old and business owner...I didn't know how I would find the time to shoot and submit.

I decided to soley focus on my clients experiencing a little bit of my career with their own photoshoots and Hot & Fit submissions, because nothing would make me happier as a coach than to see a client achieve this! .

Okay ladies/mamas- let’s talk self care. What a concept ... literally just saying it makes my own eyes roll as somehow being a woman also constitutes a great effort that needs to be taken to even simply acknowledge that self-care is important. I was raised by a mom to be a very caring and compassionate person- one who always likes to take on the needs of others before my own. My mom got sick in 2009 and was ill for 4 years. It wasn’t even 3 months after she passed that we became pregnant with Penelope and since then I have had back to back to back pregnancies. The concept of self-care- to be completely honest has been non-existent. I have been seeing a counselor for years and she is always asking me what are my hobbies what do I like to do? I never have an answer. It was not until this last post partum experience I truly am beginning to understand the magnitude of how incredibly VITAL it is. Women are wired to care for others before themselves. I don’t know many that don’t. Self care is something that should come naturally but I feel it is more of a learned trait. Between managing a household, ensuring everyone is dressed, fed and clean (including our husbands or significant others) it just seems impossible to even devote 5 minutes to ourselves let alone any lengthy amount of time. I mean come on, by the time I even have time for myself at night I literally want to crawl into bed in the fetal position and pass out just to do it all over again tomorrow. This past year I burnt out on so many levels, personally, professionally, as a mom, wife - friend, you name it. I just felt like something crashed and I no longer could handle it all. That’s when I decided enough was enough. Taking care of me, makes me a better “me” and a better me, makes me better at all of my other titles. This learned trait has taken me my entire 30 years of life to truly appreciate and acknowledge its importance. Self- care can mean different things to each one of us. To me, right now it as simple as devoting a small part of my day to physical activity and when I do get the chance to shower and get dressed- blow dry my hair even! Continued in comments...

I wasn't even sure I would get this far!! This is a year and a half ago and yesterday!! It wasn't easy. I didn't love working out everyday. I didn't want to eat my healthy foods instead of stuffing my face with junk. I was scared that this was my new normal.

I STRUGGLED AND STILL STRUGGLE EVERYDAY!! I know I'm not alone. The ladies that are on this journey with me are showing me that they are right next to me. We are there for each other. We aren't all in the same spot in our journey and that's ok. 
In my first journey it took a 4yrs, a break up, my heart to be crushed, and my world to be totally flipped upside down. 
To be honest my first transformation was done out of anger. (I've always felt like I should hide that. Because I was ashamed) Yes I went on a journey to find out how to love myself but only because I was crushed. 
I feel like this journey is harder. I love my life, my family, and have everything I could ever want. (Except for my body back) I feel selfish sometimes when I think of all I have and still want more. 
But can you truly enjoy your life if your uncomfortable in your own skin?? How many of you ladies feel this way?? I'm looking to help 10 new ladies and to share my this journey with them. I want to walk with you in this. Show you what has worked for me and what hasn't. This doesn't have to be scary or super hard.

I am actually loving this #postpartumjourney of healing and restoring my body. It starts with choosing God every morning. Choosing His best for my body but more importantly my heart, mind, and spirit.

What do I do for fun oh idk just mess around with ab tucks ..I mean when you're home all day what else do you do 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 I make it a point to do at least 10 leg raises every time I go in the room with the tower..(which is a lot lol) These were way harder then I thought they'd be. One of my favorite pieces of equipment I own is the pull-up tower..imo one of the best things for working abs (at least I've found it to be true for me)

Last for Thanksgiving I reluctantly went to Target to get something to wear because nothing fit. I would have rather stayed home than leave the house at the size I was. I had just started my weight loss journey and had a long way to go. This year I was actually excited to go shopping for Thanksgiving! I'm so proud of myself for committing myself to my goals after over a year of bullshit excuses.

Reunited at last! 
Oh how I missed this kiddo. He was asleep when I got home last night so I just sat and stared at him while he slept (even though 99% of you told me to pick him up and snuggle him...*cough cough* @anniepfit 😆) then this morning I straight up tackled him with kisses. 
He seemed confused but happy to see me. It was 100x better than Christmas. 
If you need me today I'll be over here obsessing over my baby ✌️

If not but you feel like me that it was meant to be- what do you do? }

Me, absolutely not. Not even close.😂I was in the service industry for years. I didn't feel I had any special talents or gifts. I had a great work ethic, but wasn't super motivated then. I loved helping and serving people but doubted myself in a lot of ways. I changed majors a billion times and finally chose to chase a desire to be an art therapist. I wanted to help others through self expression, as it has been so instrumental in my own journey and healing. I dropped out of my last year when I got pregnant to move across country, just 5 and a half years ago. I regretted it when my life was in shambles, in big part because it's what I felt I was "supposed" to do and I screwed up the right plan, the safe plan, the predictable plan.😳 Until I realized...my life being turned upside down, was redirecting me to the path I was truly meant to be on and an opportunity that would give me the platform to change the course of my life. 
Now, I couldn't imagine doing anything else everyday-- I get to use my heart, story, talents, strengths and get to help and empower others everyday in a multitude of ways, just in a very different way than I had planned! I prove my old self wrong in a lot of ways-- that I didn't have enough experience, that I wasn't organized, I wasn't ambitious enough, that I could never lead others, that I could never create a life of freedom doing what I loved, from the ground up. I wouldn't trade in coaching or being my own boss for anything.💕 I'm thankful a divine plan intervened on my own and I had the courage to listen and follow it. Settling isn't living. PS. I'm now accepting applications for my November mentorship if you want to be happy, healthy, purpose driven and free, too.✌🏻✨#purposedrivenlife

Así que la mejor opción es tener a mano un buen sacaleches. Para que sirve tener tu banco de leche materna❓❓
✔️El papá también puede darle de comer.
✔️Reservas tu propia leche por si algo llegara a pasar y tu no estas en casa o no puedes amamantarlo.
✔️El estímulo de la sacada de leche aumenta la producción (cuanto más se vacía el pecho, más leche produce) ✔️Si eres una mamá que trabaja o tiene pensado trabajar, esta es una buena opción para no tener que darle leche de fórmula.
✔️Cuando inicias la alimentación complementaria sirve para preparar recetas.

On crazy a$$ mornings like today.. I’m extremely thankful I can just throw some goodies in a blender, turn it on and chug. My hands are full.. if I’m not holding the baby, Anabelle needs something, and in the time in between Mommy has to take a shower after her workout. 
Days like today is when I would reach for the cereal box or junk food in the cabinet instead of eating REAL food. BUT thankfully I have my superfoods that I can just toss into the blender with some fruits and veggies and know I’m getting the nutrients I need not only for myself, but to feed my daughter.
Empty shake. Full baby. 😘

BUT I survived and made it downstairs to get my workout in by 6!

I'll tell ya right now, these are the days you just have to push the 2567983 excuses to the curb and just force yourself outta bed!  The benefits outweigh the excuses EVERY time!  I feel more awake, I have more energy & feelin good before my busy work day!  Finished right before the boys woke up & ready for my day💪🏼❤️. Who's a morning person and got their workout in already!? .

I hate to admit this but I’ve only gotten ONE workout in, in like the past 10 days or something 😱 and it feels AWFUL. Definitley gonna get my sweat on today .. I’ll never understand people that just don’t workout 🤷🏼‍♀️ For me, it’s always been a part of my daily routine just like brushing and flossing 😁
