Being the mama of two littles is harder than I ever could have imagined, especially with my husbands work schedule 👮🏻 BUT after almost 6 months, I do feel like I have figured out what works, what doesn't work, how to stay sane 🤣, etc. .
One thing I have learned is that the second I stop doing anything for myself is when I have the hardest time, so I joined my girls with the 80 day obsession! 💪🏼 So far I LOVE the program!!! The timed nutrition is tough to follow since sometimes there just is no time... but with this program I'm learning to MAKE the time! Day 3 of the program and I'm already noticing changes!!! 😧

When TJ was just 9 months old and I became pregnant with Izzy everyone was quick to warn me how hard life would be with two so close in age.  There was lots of concern about how I would cope. “Two still in nappies” 😳 “Two that still need help dressing/feeding” 😳 etc etc

The first year or so was tough.  It was hard being pregnant with such a young baby that was not even walking until shortly before Izzy was born. TJ stopped sleeping at night as he adjusted to having a sister. With her feeds I basically had a year with little to no sleep.  But as moms of multiples will tell you somehow you make it through. You conquer each task day by day.  You do what you can.  And now...

Now (2.4 years after Izzy was born) they play and are best of friends. They always sit/stand right next to each other.  They are interested in playing similar games.  They read together. They also want to do things together.  Yes, sometimes they fight over one particular toy when there are *hundreds* of others to chose from😬🙄 but they are also so close.

Now, if I had planned it, I would have two close together again. The 1-2 years of tougher times is so worth it.  So, if you are pregnant with your second or twins or in the newborn stage with 2 young ones ignore the critics, do what you can and it will all sort itself out and be 👌🏻

Guys, for today’s workout, it was essential to have a few different weights on hand. {I went with 10, 8 + 5 pounders🏋🏻‍♀️} Having a few options makes it easier to keep pushing through the workout, especially when you start feeling that deep muscle fatigue. And let’s be honest...for those tricep burners, the light weights were my sanity! 🙏🏼

Day 3/80. Starting my day out early today. Although I have had my tea & devo time earlier, having a full breakfast so early is way out of my comfort zone. I like to workout fasted. I have been doing it for years!!! But I started a new workout program this week that focuses on timed nutrition, and my first meal of the day needs to be 1 hour before my workout. So here goes!!! Remember that greatness is found outside your comfort zone (and with a lot of prayer 😘). Want more info on this program or on my Bootcamp that starts on Monday? Reach out!!! I made it through day 3 and to be completely honest...I'm in a little pain but I'm not giving up!  I have a weak hip from a precious hip surgery. It doesn't take much to throw out my back and have terrible sciatic pain.  But I'm on the mend with some modification and some Aleve 😀. Yay for it being Wednesday 👏🏼!!

Casie is a mum of 2 beautiful children. After having her bub 12 months ago she was determined to get fit and healthy, to feel confident, strong and empowered. Case joined our @_fitwithash transformation program with a goal of more than just losing weight, she had a mental transformation goal as well, learning new disciplines, resisting temptations and most importantly becoming an ideal role model for her children!

I feel like being a parent we forget about the impact we have on our children and the influence we have over their decisions and choices not only now but those choices, thoughts and actions that they have later in life.

It all starts from us, and it’s ingrained in these small humans from such a young age, there is no time to mess around being de-motivated, un-confident, stressed and tired, because ultimately I know we can all agree that we would hate for our children to feel those feelings once they reach our age. Imagine if they believed in themselves and had no fear of failure leaving school, imagine if they had a clear direction. How cool would that be? Start changing your actions and be the ideal role model so that your children can be confident, strong and resilient throughout their lives, let’s teach these humans that the only way is up and that nothing can stop them, let’s teach them to strive for greater than great!

It starts with one simple decision, the decision to positive, to be confident, to accept failure as a lesson and to play life full out and show these kids how the hell to do that!

You may need some focused work if you have a separation, but if you don't, you may not need any "core" training at all (or it may look very different to what you know)
❎ Making women feel bad and shaming about their posture, weight gain and tummies... The focus should be on:
✔ YOUR issues... DR? Pelvic floor? Limited mobility? Hypermobility? Pain? You may have any one of these or all of them, or NONE of them and your programme should be individualised to suit YOU. ✔ Progressive strength training with impeccable form. Building muscle and moving well should be a top priority.
✔ HEALING... More important than the above two... Whether you had a vaginal birth or a C-section, your body went through a lot and you need to heal before you make room for exercise. Exercise is a at stress, one that you don't need to add unless you are healing well and sleeping well and feeling up to it.

REVIEW: X50 Broccoli Chips ➖➖➖At $5 (AUD) I was pretty underwhelmed when I opened the seemingly voluminous bag  to a small handful of broccoli stalks. All the heads had kind of disintegrated into a powder. I will say that they did taste absolutely delicious & ingredients wise not too bad at all 👍. At 208 Calories for the bag (most energy coming from fat) I’d say not going to break the calorie bank...however satiety wise ( how satisfying they were  On curbing hunger) I would only rate them a 1/10 ☹️

Tonight I rocked up to the local pool and didn’t realise it was right before closing time. I really needed a release tonight so decided to smash out a quick interval pool session anyway. 
4x 100m with 30 sec recovery. Thank you, #queanbeyanaquaticcentre ! I did NOT want to workout Monday.  I have two sick kiddos.  One has the Flu (Ryan) and one has RSV *AGAIN* (Ryder) 😭😭😭 Trying to keep it all from spreading to the rest of us.  It's hard when the little ones are sick and they just want to be with eveyone and need a lot of LOVE and ATTENTION.  Needless to say I was exhausted.  Around 10:30pm I finally had to make time and get this workout done.  So that's what I did.  It wasn't pretty but I Did it.

Despite the fact I got up at 6 instead of my planned 5am get up (who the hell invented the snooze button?!) and by doing so I was left with precisely 30 minutes spare and therefore there was no time to change out my pjs and I had to use this morning for my BBG workout instead of my #alexiaclark workout.. so week 30 BBG abs it was - largely due to be able to spend the bulk of the workout horizontal 😆 .

This is SO true. When I signed up with a personal trainer, I told her I could commit to once a week. No way to make an excuse around it for one session, once a week. Then it'd be up to me to do what I needed to in between. I have now attended 5 sessions and worked out for 4 full weeks! I've been motivated to do the workouts I need to in between so I can be better at the next personal training session. It took a couple weeks to figure out what works for me eating wise, but everything is falling into place. My personal trainer weighs and measures my body fat every other week. (The values vary compared to my home weigh ins as they're at night, fully clothed, and not on an empty stomach. Even still, I was down 6+ lbs on her scale and down 1%+ on body fat % from 2 weeks ago. I'm just going to keep chipping away at it. #littleenginethatcould

Here is my truth. Before becoming a mom, I was lazy with my nutrition. I wanted the quick results and worked out only twice a week. I tracked every calorie not paying attention to the food groups I was consuming or the ingredients on the labels. Yes, I even said a donut and half croissant was only 150 calories , everyday 🙊

The past three years I’ve gained and lost 40lbs twice because of two miracle babies. I say miracle, because I also suffered a miscarriage in between. Without this online community I seriously don’t know where I’d be. Probably still trying to get in shape on an elliptical at the gym and pretending like I knew what I was doing on the weight machines. Once envious of the women who had the strong bodies I deeply desired, I am now on my path to putting in the work, again. Today we shared our before photos for our 80 day program. I am excited to see where my timed nutrition plan and resistance loops training takes my body. Mom bod journey # 2 continues! Thanks for following and for your support. Okay ladies ... my very sweet adorable boys were a ...straight...up...NIGHTMARE today. 🤬😭🤯 I know all you #tiumamas understand what these days are like... All I wanted to do was pour a big...no lets be serious...HUGE glass of this delicious @bluemtnwinery Pinot Blanc, sit on my booty, and wallow in self pity, while binging on Netflix. 
But, what did I do instead...I threw on a tank, grabbed my water bottle, and sweated it out instead. I sure love my vino but damn am I glad i made the right decision. 
There are a lot of hard, tiring and stressful days being a mama. But, there are also a lot of amazing, gratifying, wonderful days. For the days when I feel like down is up and up is down, I’m glad my outlet has become my fitness. 
Tonight I did love your beautiful booty + HIIT for my #tiubootycall. Another awesome workout on #studiotoneitup !! My meals today were on point

Man were my legs feeling sore today! My legs always seem to have 2 day delayed muscle soreness, we'll see if it lingers to tomorrow... Today I pushed through and took a friend who is visiting from New Zealand to walk around Beacon Hill Park.  The children's zoo park was closed, but there were soo many ducks. 
Looking at this picture gives me mixed feelings.  On one hand I'm much wider than I used to be, and because I'm short I feel like I look so stubby.  But it's a good thing I have 2 hands because on the other hand I am happy I'm actually out there doing what I can to work towards being less stubby. .

A partner doesn't have to always be into everything you are into but they need to support you in all that you do and believe in.

I have really big goals and I’m getting frustrated putting them off every day. I have been feeling like life is spinning around me and I can only grab on to bits and pieces of it before the day is over and I again have not got anything checked off my list. .

I am working on taking back control of life and reworking things to work for me!  It’s really not pretty and most of the time doesn’t go the way I have it planned but it’s starting to feel so much better!!
