This weekend was a sneak peek for me into the coming Holiday months. Parties, visitors in town, going out to eat, sweets everywhere, and no time for anything! 😳
This is the time of the year that we tend to start saying…. ”ohh I think my New Years resolution is going to be ____” , and because we set January as our start date, we let ourselves get into a slump these next few months.
What if you could make a plan so that you don’t fall into a slump over these next three months? What if your plan helped you to feel good about yourself (even with all the candy, parties, and Holiday food)? What if you could make a plan for yourself that you could maintain through your hectic Holiday schedules? 😊
I’ve got a few more months of working hard to keep my body healthy for this sweet little girl, so I am right here with you! 💕 Focusing on my nutrition and my health. Lets get a HEAD START on the Holidays and end 2017 feeling great!!
My Head Start on the Holidays group starts this week! Message me if you need some accountability and community in your fitness life 🙋🏻
Soooo I've literally become the clumsiest person I know 💫
I fall getting out of cars, slip down hills, run into doors and don't even get me started on escalators! It's actually pretty funny... on the occasions I don't severely hurt myself 😂
Seriously, here I was smugly thinking I'd have no problems with balance due to all the yoga I do, but it seems my growing baby has other ideas. I had no clue the changes that would happen and I seriously applaud all the women who have had babies around me, because they made it look so easy!! I guess it's a journey for a reason and all we can do is hold on for the ride right? (Oh and stay away from hanging cliffs 😬) xx
Post gym dinner ... felt today after being told by my PT that's I need to keep a food diary from tomorrow that tonight I'd photo my dinner. I don't normally... Today marks the second session back to the gym after my holiday to Italy and my binge on Italian food! I put on an extra 4 kgs! I'm the heaviest I've EVER been! 😞
After my coil removal I had a blood test to check my thyroid and they picked up that I didn't have my MMR as a baby so I need that before we really try for a buba. So currently I'm covered in a rash - a side effect. And only next month can we 'try'. I've been a little all over the place since removing my coil. Really up and down with my other half and so many stupid arguments and not much fun. I started reading about stress and anxiety while pregnant and that's made me worried. Such a vicious circle?! So from today I want to really try getting my body and mind back on track and feeling positive before I start to grow a baby! #pregnancyblog#pregnancyjournal#pregnancyfit#nanny2mama#wheretostart
“You have to build a program you can do for 50 years, not 5 weeks or 5 years” -Darren Hardy
I found this quote the other day and have been thinking about it a lot. I feel like so many times when it comes to our health, we tend to jump onto every fad that comes our way. We are ALL IN for a few months, then reality sets in, and whatever it was we are doing, just becomes another thing we WERE doing. 🤦🏻♀️
Consistency is such an important part of success…with anything. 🌞 If you want to wake up early, you have to do it EVERY day. 🍇 If you want to fuel your body with healthy foods, you can’t buy chips and cokes every week. 💪🏼 If you want to stick to a workout program, you have to find something that fits into your life, and show up every day!
Before I found my at-home workouts, I would make a plan for my week: weights at the gym and some cardio. Then work or home life would get in the way and maybe one or two of those workouts would happen. Cue next week. Same routine! 🤷🏻♀️ I was consistent, just not in how I wanted to!
Now, I am consistent because I found something that fits my life. I can’t say no to my basement workout room, my pre-planned workout calendar, or my accountability ladies who are showing up everyday around the country!
If I can do it, so can you!! 👊🏼
I consider myself a reasonably crafty girl.. but she is by far the greatest thing I've ever created!! I can't believe we are about to have TWO of them!! 🙈💕 Also.. double the denim, double the chin, double the love! 🤷🏻♀️😂

Transformation Tuesday (pregnancy style 💕)
Our bodies are seriously amazing! Here is 29 weeks of baby girl growing and about 14lbs of me growing...with more to go! 🤗
In the first picture, I was still working to lose weight and get back in shape from my last pregnancy (and unknown to me...pregnant!)...and now I’m working to stay in shape to give this little girl the best first home she could ask for ❤️
Staying healthy and fit during this pregnancy has been hard. Waking up early to workout (when all I want to do is sleep) has been a work in progress. Making healthy choices (when those McFlurries are ALWAYS calling my name 😋) is tough. But it’s worth it!
Every positive choice you make is a good one people! Keep working hard...even if it’s just small steps 😊
If you want to be there for other people, you have to start taking care of yourself! Otherwise, how will you be able to take care of anyone?
As women, I feel like we feel massive guilt (mom guilt, wife guilt, just guilt) if we put ourselves first for a minute.
Right now I have to think about my husband and my sweet little growing baby. If I am anxious or not healthy, there is no way I can be there for my husband or this sweet little one. I know when this baby comes, if I want to be there for her, I am going to have to take care of me!
So you know what I do? I wake up an hour early almost every day and do something healthy for me by working out. I drink a superfood shake every day, for me. And I work to fill my mind with positive personal development!
These things make me a better wife and Im hoping a better mom! 😊
Holidays are such a tough time when it comes to our heath. It’s a time full of parties, travel, over-indulging, and absolutely no time for ourselves! It’s also a time when we always want to feel our best as we are hanging with our friends and family 😊
So why not work to create some new habits BEFORE the Holiday season rolls around! Let’s get a HEAD START on getting Holiday healthy 🤗
👉🏼 Maybe your goal is to lose 5 pounds by Thanksgiving, maybe it’s to be less anxious this season, maybe it’s just to have more energy and confidence for this eventful time!
Whatever it is, if you are serious about setting some goals and meeting them, I would love to give you everything you need to get healthy before the Holidays!
I’m so ready to do this with you!! ❤️ Are you ready to invest in yourself for the rest of this year?

So not quite looking like this at the moment but still staying as fit as I can
Eating has changed slightly as I'm wanting more carbs, but all in all doing the best I can
Growing a baby isn't easy lol
I never thought I would handle these massive body changes as well as I am, but I am focusing on the end result. A precious amazing little baby.
So the extra cellulite, stored fat, spidery red veins, fat feet and humongous boobs are just part of the journey that I chose to take
These minor negatives are just little hurdles over the road towards what is going to be the most incredible goal I will ever achieve
So I'm staying focused, being real and embracing the journey, not punishing myself for taking breaks, lowering the intensity of my workouts, or not eating as perfect as usual.
Because I know I am still doing the best I can to maintain a healthy body to grow my baby in
I've created a group for support and to share info, tips and mummy tricks, as this is going to be a life changer and I'll need all the help I can get 🙈
So if you are pregnant or a new mum and would love to interact with other mums, a midwife and nurses for extra support and advice. Come on over to my group and say Hi. Link in bio xx
