Only like three or four more boxes of stuff need to go in there. Except I think there's a box of books I can't find and haven't unpacked. Those that know me I've spent maybe two years of off and on editing of my possessions and and battling #clutter . I've finally purchased and am reading Marie Kondo' s book. Its pretty good and challenging. Yesterday I tackled clothes, which I thought I had a good handle on. I was shocked to find I almost had 60 tops still. and I was surprised and gratefull I still had several i didn't need, even accounting for the fact i have a temporary maternity wardrobe included. Today I got books. A little rough but i made it. I coulda been harsher. I see one now I'm probably going to pull. I look forward to my helpers nap. 😉 interesting find: i gave up a large percentage, if not all, my art books. Many on herbs went cause it's just cause they seemed fluffy and superfluous. Spin class-A high energy class that is fun and energetic with potential to burn up to 600 calories in 40 minutes. Ideal for weight loss and to get fitter.
Yoga class-This class allows you to work up a sweat, build strength, increase flexibility and to improve stamina. We will focus on mindful breathing work and do a short mediation to set you up for the rest of your day ahead. By the end of the class you will feel vibrant and full of life.
We've added brand new female and male changing rooms to the Academy with 4 showers, 4 toilets and loads of room to get changed. We've also added a new spin/yoga room with the best of equipment and our new reception/chill out area has chairs, tables and bean bags to chill out before or after a class and we've also got coffee and tea available for our members.

Cashew Chicken #theproteinleague
1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced into 1-inch pieces
1 Tbsp + 2 tsp cornstarch, divided
2 1/2 Tbsp olive oil, divided
Salt and white or black pepper
6 Tbsp low-sodium chicken broth or water, then more as needed
3 1/2 Tbsp hoisin sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp rice vinegar
1 Tbsp honey
1/2 tsp sesame oil
4 green onions, chopped, plus more for serving if desired
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp finely grated, peeled fresh ginger
2 cups diced broccoli florets (small pieces)
1 medium bell pepper, chopped
3/4 cup unsalted cashews, roughly chopped
Sesame seeds, for serving (optional)
In a mixing bowl, toss chicken with 1 Tbsp cornstarch to evenly coat. In a large skillet, heat 1/2 Tbsp oil over medium-high heat.
Once oil is hot, add half of the chicken, and cook stirring frequently, until chicken is is golden brown and has cooked through, about 5 minutes.
Transfer chicken to a plate and add another 1/2 Tbsp vegetable oil to skillet. Cook remaining chicken until golden brown and cooked through, then transfer to plate with first batch of chicken.
In a mixing bowl (or liquid measuring cup used to measure chicken broth), whisk together chicken broth, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil and remaining 2 tsp cornstarch until well blended, set aside.
Heat remaining 1 1/2 Tbsp oil in skillet over medium heat. Add in green onions, garlic, ginger, broccoli and bell pepper and saute until veggies are tender, about 3 minutes. Transfer to a large plate.
Pour in hoisin sauce mixture and cook, whisking constantly, until sauce boils and thickens (don't let it reduce it will be too salty, just cook long enough to thicken). Thin with 1 - 2 more tablespoons of broth or water if desired.
Remove from heat, add chicken, veggies and cashews to sauce and toss to evenly coat. Serve warm with white or brown rice, cauliflower "rice" or quinoa and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds.
Leg day 🍑✅ - Originally planned to train shoulders and triceps but decided to try training my legs. If you aren't aware- while I was away in Thailand i managed to tear my collateral ligaments in my knee ❌🆘, so walking has been a struggle never mind training legs 👀.
However, after resting it for 3/4 weeks now I thought I'd give a lightweight leg workout a shot and see what I could manage ✌🏼. It was a complete success 🎉- I managed to get in an amazing workout without barbell squats or the weighted leg press which makes me so happy 😍. Feeling a lot happier knowing I won't lose all my hard work 💦🏋🏼♀️. .
Still working on getting a lot leaner and back to tracking my macros, hopefully some progress pics will follow in the next couple of weeks 😏👏🏼. Hope everyone had a great thursday, and it's nearly the weekend ✨
