Turned a failed batch of #pumpkin cookies into a pumpkin cheesecake bar. Roasted the walnuts too long, but my tummy ain't complaining. #keto#lowcarb#sugarfree and even Ben --who can't stand sugar substitutes -- enjoyed it. :) Will try to post a recipe after food coma recovery.
Despite pumpkin pie and gluten-free Apple Betty leftovers, I’m still craving these GF Chocolate Caramel cookies! Another batch of batter is in my future. (PS. If you’re looking for a holiday cookie swap recipe, this one is a cinch and so quick to make!) #ontheblog

Tried @sainsburys finest new skinny burgers (>>>>) only 117 cals and 2.2g of fat and 20g protein each! Cooked them the normal way I cook lean meat to stop it drying out; seared them in a frying pan then left them on a lower heat in the pan with a lid on so they almost steam. Fail proof method and honestly they were so meaty and juicy I was like 🙌🏻 feel like these are my new cut holy grail meal! Put a bit of red lecister on top, and whacked them in an English muffin - possibly the best decision I've made all week. Was desperately craving a takeaway all day and was tempted cause I had a thousand calories left in a pretty even split but I'm so glad I didn't cave cause this was amazing and meant I hit my macros near perfect for another day. Whole meal was C 863 c 94 f 24 p 63 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Let the Christmas baking commence. I'm making my plant-based lemon curd. Perfect to give as a gift in a cute little Weck jar or use in lemon meringue pie, lemon chiffon cake, on a scone, etc.
1/4 C lime juice
1 1/4 C lemon juice
1/4 C water
2 T lemon zest
1 1/2 C sugar
1/2C +1T corn starch
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 C non dairy milk (I used cashew)
3 T vegan butter (I used Miyoko's)
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch ground turmeric for color
Bring juices, lemon zest, and water to a rolling boil. In a bowl mix sugar, cornstarch and salt completely. Then add that mixture to the boiling liquids and allow to boil for 60 seconds before whisking in the rest of the ingredients. Whisk until think as pudding. Remove from the stove an pass through a sieve. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to cool! #plantbased#vegan#lemoncurd#dairyfree#glutenfree#dessert#recipe#veganrecipes#chef

A: Fry-day of course!
I only make hot chocolate one way: the right way! Recipe below!! Trust me, you’ll never go back. #recipe#hotchocolate#food#yummy#christmas 🎄Recipe: 1% milk (or whatever you use), baileys Irish cream, reddi whip, Swiss miss hot chocolate mix, ground cinnamon & Hershey’s chocolate syrup. Mix the milk & Irish cream in a mug (50/50 works good, but you can do it to your taste!), heat in the microwave until hot, add your Swiss miss hot chocolate mix and WHISK IT (makes it frothy. Put in the whisk and use your palms to rub it back and forth like you’re starting a fire... because this hot chocolate is LIT). Add your reddi whip, lightly sprinkle the crushed cinnamon & slowly drizzle your chocolate syrup. Enjoy.
Cranberry, apple, and pomegranate relish. Cranberry relish is one side dish that is a must make for me for Thanksgiving. If you watched my Stories yesterday, you saw my #recipe for this relish. It starts with a base of 1 cup sugar, 1 cup fresh orange juice, zest of one orange, a pinch of salt and a 12 oz bag of cranberries. I added one diced green apple and everything is placed in a sauce pan, brought to a boil, then reduced to a simmer until the cranberries begin to burst. I always take the back of a spatula and crush a few too but I try to leave some whole. Once it’s thickened and cooled for a few minutes add in 1/2 of a pomegranate. That’s it! I took some of the leftovers and spread it over a toasted bagel with cream cheese. So good! What do you do with your cranberry relish leftovers? #cranberry#pomegranate#thanksgiving
