Our Spring Retreat is FULL! Can't wait to spend four days away recharging together. And for those who want a bit of dancing mixed in with their yoga, meditation, sleeping and chilling.... our incredible Emily @grey_areas1 has been working on this routine to teach at the retreat. Oh yeeaahhhh!! For those who can't be there, don't worry - all our classes are on at the studio as usual, including the divine Lush Session on Friday night. We've got all you ladies covered, hey?
DFA's Central Park Tower has garnered attention all over including @curbedny @nbcnewyork @archdaily @timeoutnewyork @hypebeast @wired and @designboom ! The 712 foot timber temporary structure would be the world's tallest but more importantly it would contain infrastructure to clean the Jaqueline Kennedy reservoir, transforming it to a public amenity.
Meaghan Keefe tracks her progress mapping the bathymetry of one of New York City's "east-of-Hudson" reservoirs. The multi-year project, in cooperation with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, aims to map all 16 reservoirs and provide #NYCDEP with updated capacity tables for managing the reservoir system. The work makes use of a multi-beam echosounder and GPS to map the depth and location at thousands of points on the reservoir bottom.
