8 mile mile tempo run at 5:59/mile. About 15 seconds per mile slower than I wanted. 12 miles total..Temps were in the 80s at the start and just couldn't push the pace today. It's crazy how your mind plays tricks on you. It will tell you, why are you struggling with 8 miles at this pace? You ran 26.2 miles at nearly exactly this pace in Boston! Summer running is almost over. (Thankfully) Just remember you are NOT out of shape. Your NOT getting slower. Adjusting your paces might hurt your ego initially, but it's worth listening to your body! I've been on both sides😂😂

Hoje eu corri só para treinar a respiração, e é muito mais fácil assim! E é bem simples, puxando o ar por três segundos, segurei o ar por três segundos, soltei o ar em três segundos e depois mantive o pulmão sem ar por mais três segundos. O resultado é excelente, depois de alguns minutos praticando, já fazia naturalmente a técnica numa velocidade em que minha frequência cardíaca estava em 70% e sem sofrer! #running#runner#run#asics#garmin#nike#adidas
Guys! I'm back! 🙋🏼 I'm married, and happy, and so so thrilled to be cooking my own food after 2.5 weeks on bae-cay! 🙌 Tonight's #homecooked dinner is grilled salmon with a BBQ soy glaze, grilled garlic/cayenne broccoli, and brown rice made with #homemade#slowcooker vegetable broth. I've got big plans coming up, too! A new #10k 🏃♀️, which means training starts Monday, and some new food ideas. I'm so glad to be back at my home base!
