I don't have too many specific goals for these races other than to have fun and run smart! I'm hoping to prove to myself that running these races can be enjoyable and not every event has to end in a PB!
Saying that, part of me would love to beat my time from my first half! Based on my training over the last few months, going below 1:40 is definitely a possibility! ⏱

After building up a base over the last two weeks, the next 5 weeks are intense training for my next sub 3 attempt. Honestly, I'm tired just looking at the schedule.
Thankful for a cool morning with low humidity. Still needed to bring water because nothing is shorter than 6 miles now. My @orangemud PFV comes in pretty handy. Full review on the blog today.

It was a beautiful morning for #runyoasana2 ! I did 2 miles, just shy of the 30 minutes but still need to get ready for work. I also had my first under 13 min mile!!! It may not look like much but this run from Saturday was probably the toughest running session I've ever had.
4 x 12 min @ Threshold pace w/ 2:30 recovery. I was expecting it to be challenging but right from the warm up at the start my heart rate was reading way higher than normal, and it stayed like that for the whole run. It was a real struggle, but I still hit my target paces throughout so I'm happy with that. But it was such a relief to get in the door and COLLAPSE at the end!! How was your weekend? 😊
