Bit of a damp, clammy morning run but it was good to stretch the legs.
I decided to trial eating porridge before the run to see how my stomach handled it before and during the run, as I'm going to need to eat more than a banana before the GNR.
It seems to have done the trick...no emergency stops 😄 thanks for the tip @hipster_knitter
I would never have eaten honey or nuts before I started running, just not a fan but needs must these days and they're not so bad after all.

This morning we worked on overhead squats. Making sure our technique and positioning was spot on before adding a little bit of weight. Then we did 6 rounds for time of; 400m run, 10x overhead squat and 20 Russian twists. We finished with 15x kettle bell swings, 20x Russian twists and a 100m walking lunge. Followed by 1x400m max effort lap. Tuesday morning was hard! Can't wait to repeat it with tonight's group 💁🏼🏃🏼♀️
Most days I find running hard to get started. Today especially. Berlin Marathon is drawing closer and I am getting really nervous. Texted coach to say i can't run and added 🤢 for additional effect. She wrote back to remind myself I am Strong and I can do this hill and I can have ice cream later 🍦. I finished my intended run at a stable pace ( it has been a while..! ) and I've improved my time on the little hill by 1 min 16 secs from first attempt and I got to the top 10 leaderboard today 😍 I really think these endless hills are making me stronger.... 🙌🏻💪🏻 Need to check for bubble 🍑 progress 😂
