What a way to start the day! We've joined @mikkelhefto for a memorable sunrise atop Mount Amos in the Freycinet National Park. This stunning vista never disappoints, with the perfect crescent of Wineglass Bay in the foreground and the epic coastline of @eastcoasttasmania reaching in both directions. The Freycinet Peninsula and its award-winning national park is considered by many to be the jewel in the crown that is Tassie's East Coast. Whether you're the active type that feeds on adventure and adrenaline, or you're the type that likes to sit and just be, there's an incredible range of experiences and accommodation at Freycinet to keep you satisfied. You just need to make the time! Thanks for tagging #discovertasmania , Mikkel.
Eat, drink and be merry at @TheGrounds of Alexandria in Inner Sydney! 🎅 Follow Santa and work up a Christmas appetite with their house-roasted coffee, garden-to-table menu and scrumptious range of tasty treats. #ilovesydney#sydxmas
"Just taking the chopper out for a picnic on the beach." 🚁 That's just what @thewanderfullylost did with @coralcoasthelicopterservices on her recent trip to Carnarvon at @australiascoralcoast. Located a two-day road trip or two-hour flight north of Perth, the seaside town is known as the fruit bowl of the state because of the bounty of fresh produce grown in the region, including mangoes, bananas and incredible seafood. From here you also have access to some of the State's best year-round fishing, surfing, kite surfing, snorkelling and swimming spots, all dotted along a beautifully rugged stretch of coastline. #justanotherdayinWA#thisisWA#WesternAustralia#seeaustralia#amazingcoralcoast#catchyouincarnarvon
I’m currently counting down my top 10 images of 2017. Number 7 is from a beautiful morning down at Bronte Baths. I’ve shot this ocean pool many times over the past couple of years but never had any decent light up until April this year when the sky exploded with amazing colours.
Can you believe this swimming spot is near Brisbane? @adrian.reilly and @_danno_29 trekked the 4km hike near Mt Barney to reach the Upper Portals. A crab pool float is an obvious essential when hiking 😂🦀👣 #brisbaneanyday#visitscenicrim @visitscenicrim
Seriously, can @eyrepeninsula possibly do anything more to drag us all to its arsenal of ridiculously perfect beaches this summer? While @kaptainkirky and his mates were out having a splash at this secluded little spot, they also had some company - with a local sealion joining for a few quick laps in the sun! With a literal smorgasbord of rugged cliffs, tranquil coves, hidden caves, and miles and miles of white sand in all directions you’ll find that more often than not, the only footprints you’ll be leaving behind are your own. Whether you’re casting a fishing line, floating on a li-lo, surfing peeling peaks or even just flaking out on a towel, you’d be mad not to soak in some of the region’s plethora of seafood while you’re at it. We’d suggest kicking off with a visit to the @freshfishplace to load up your esky in @port_lincoln before high-tailing it straight to paradise... Oh, and remember to drop into @coffinbayoysterfarmtours on the way. Shucking sensational! #SeeSouthAustralia 🏖💦🙌 [📍Location: 50 minute flight (or 7hr drive) to @Port_Lincoln from #Adelaide in #SouthAustralia ]
Tasmania has left me mind blown.
Such incredible diversity of life, especially in the mountains.
Spoilt with views after some solid hiking with @goldiehawn_ .
Won't be forgeting all the frogs, lizards, flowers, carnivorous plants, birds and marsupials any time soon. A pristine place! Hike mindfully ;)
