The wedding dress.... Rebecca Vallance! I have found my new favorite designer! V1546 was everything I envisioned for the wedding I had to attend. Very chic, and a fun wear!... I must say though, initially, I passed it over for the wedding, as the pic on the envelope was too casual and with the suggested fabrics of poplin and twill, wasn't helping persuade me otherwise. I am not sure of the exact type of fabric used, as I got it from Vietnam. I believe the flowers are put on digitally, and the fabric has a slight stretch and sheen. Beautiful fabric and easy to sew. I learned a few techniques ...the pockets and the lining are made from white crepe de chine, and the front of the pockets, are the same fabric as the dress. The liniing is straight cut with a slit for ease of walking. I am really pleased with how the dress turned out...and apparently so were my friends and family...Even my conservative mom loved it!...😂 I will definitely be making this again.... maybe the next one will be linen..... @mccallpatterncompany #memade#mccallpatterncompany#sewingisfun#diyfashion#sewingissexy#sewistsofinstagram#sewing_and_design_school#vogue#memadeeveryday#sewhappy#sewingproject#sewinglife
