HOW TO TRIM KINKY/CURLY HAIR:
Sorry no music guys, IG keeps taking down the one with music 😔
1. I start by using my favorite moisturizing creams, either #sheamoisture ’s curl enhancing smoothie, or their Manuka honey and mafura oil deep conditioner. I distribute this from my tips to roots.
2. I then gently detangle from my tips to roots with my Denman brush (I skip to where most of the section is detangled in the video, so it looks like I start from the root, but please note I start at the ends). 3. Once the section is completely detangled, I twirl the ends around my finger to make a defined curl. This allows me to easily see where the line of demarcation is (line where hair starts to thin out). 4. I trim where necessary (you’ll notice in the video it’s only a little; stay away from heat, protective style often, and trim your ends often and you’ll notice you only have to take off a little too).
I then detangle from the ends to the roots again.
5. I twist my hair (halfway down the section, I detangle with my brush again to ensure smoother results, and I do this again at the end of the section). 6. I twirl the ends around my fingers again to form a secure coil at the ends and this is what keeps my hair from unraveling.
7. I repeat this process all over my head, and in total, it takes me about 3-3.5 hours to do this (my hair is hip length, kinky/curly, and I have a total of 28 twists in my head, so this can take a while). 8. I trim every 3 months, REGARDLESS if my hair needs it or not, but it usually does.
PS: I have been wearing these twists for the majority of the year for the past two years. This is what works best for me and my hair type (I show you in the video, but it’s low porosity, 3c-4b kinky curly, and unruly). This has helped me retain length like stink, so I hope this helps some of my kinky sistas out! #protectivestyles#naturalhair
Today was a multiple cups of coffee kind of day. Working on some really exciting things at the moment. Can’t wait to share with you guys 🙏🏽
Omg! 😍😂😂 Twins or nah? 👇🏽
Finally!! I have been wanting to try this style for years it feels like! I finally found a method for installing #FauxLocs that worked for me! I individually braided & crocheted the perimeter of my head & installed with cornrows throughout the middle section. This allowed for the most natural & lightweight results. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but I'll be sure to record how I refresh them in a week or two! I basically followed @foreverflawless method , with a few minor differences if you would like a video to reference!

You're going to want to swipe my g 🙄🌸 MAGIC DIY 🌞💫🤔 so if y'all watched my Insta story yesterday you would know that I gave my hair some extra #TLC - which consisted of my DIY clarifying, clay mixture and my protein deep conditioner. I also changed up my usual LOC method to LCO 👏🏽 sometimes I too forget how our hair can easily adapt and get over the usual hair routine and it could be for a multitude of reasons. For me, sometimes I get lazy or I'm just short for time and don't want to risk a "bad hair day" 😂 but my hair really did thank me after this. PIC 1 & 2, is my hair after the detox and DC, PIC 3 is my hair once it was 95% dry and PIC 4 Is day 2 100% dry 🙌🏽 THE FULL VIDEO WILL BE UP ON WEDNESDAY! So don't forget to subscribe so you get that notification ting xx #embraceyourfrizzique

Chapped lips (also cheilitis simplex, are characterized by cracking, fissuring, and peeling of the skin of the lips, and are one of the most common types of cheilitis. The lips have a greater tendency to dry out in cold, dry weather, thus harmattan season.
#funfact : Constant application of Raw Shea butter evenly on lips 👄 can keep lips away from cracking or peeling off. Stay healthy and feel good this harmattan season.
Curls on top of curls on top of curls!!! 😍😍😍 .
My hair transformation is beyond what I expected. I straightened my hair for 10+ years before I decided to stop cold Turkey! It was the best decision and in the past year I have repaired all the damage that had been done. I learned how to take care of my curls, learned about what products to use, how to style and embrace my curls! I will NEVER go back to straight hair, I cherish these curls. It took 29 years to finally do but it's amazing how much change can happen in a year.
😘 @boxycharm #sheamoisture#girlswithcurls#naturalcurls#curlyhair#cabellorizado#tightcurls#crazyhair#makeupselfie#motd#winkylux#tarte#tarteistmascara#fxmakeup#realher#nofilter
