I’ve seen this quote before, many times actually. But tonight, as I heard it spoken over the radio, I started balling. I knew I was being spoken to after leaving my house, upset almost in tears. The weight loss extra skin..belly hang..is there any hope??? Throwing back on a Tuesday. 💃🏼 to remind you that it IS possible and not to give up. The one question I always asked myself is WILL the SKIN tighten back? After losing the weight? Especially the older we get? Im 42 (on Friday 🎂) and lost 50 pounds. Add that to having 4 kids and the last in my mid 30’s...I gained my weight AFTER my last kid. And I’m finding the more consistent I am, the skin IS responding and tightening. And this is with JUST nutrition and exercise. I don’t use supplements, teas, wraps, creams, fascia blasters, NOTHING..and I’m not interested in using anything. This is my body and I’m damn proud of myself. I do use baby oil and coconut oil. Obviously everyone’s skin and weight loss is different. But I’m really pumped to show you all how I crush it in 2018. Gonna dial it in a bit and see what happens. PS...for those that think I’m sucking 🙄 swipe right for the suck in. And yes. I went into my conditioning tonight with every intention of crushing it. I was tired. I had #DOMS . But I was focused. I picked up the weight that was supposed to be light, and it was heavy. I struggled physically and mentally and I began to tear myself apart to the point of complete frustration and self deprecation. Fatigue overtook my entire body and I had to fight for every rep, take a break in between reps and eventually it beat me. I left with 2 unfinished sets and a boatload of negative self talk. I don't know why I can't beat this fatigue. I don't know why my body won't lose a single pound but gains many pounds easily. I don't know why I fall asleep in the middle of the day or why I can't stay asleep at night. I don't know why every Dr I've seen says I'm okay but if this is okay I don't know how to live like this for the rest of my life. I don't chose to carry around this extra body weight. I do choose to eat stupid kale which is tolerable in this soup that my sis makes, but not give up the occasional sweets like this salted caramel that someone local makes(and someone gifted me today) and it's the most amazing melt in your mouth treat ever. Walk in someone's shoes before you think the fat girl sits on her butt all day eating bags of Cheetos and m&ms, or that she doesn't try to lose the weight. Don't forget her body isn't the same as your body and won't respond to the same methods you use. And that she can't walk around hating every part of her body all day long even this she secretly does, she tries to love herself where she's at because hating herself is exhausting. Encourage her. A couple months ago, Caleb expressed interest in doing a 5k... so we signed him up for one and have started training with him and he’s doing really well! We did 1.45 miles tonight together and then I finished another easy 2 solo miles for my training!

Today's wasn't my greatest 🙈 My 2 yo kept interrupting and then the baby woke up... and from that point on it was one thing after another 😂 #momlife ... I did however get these moves recorded 》 Side Kick Taps, Lower-Upper-Hold Bananas, & Roll through Sumo Squats 💪 These work multiple muscles but the main muscle groups worked are Abs, Glutes, Legs, & Lower back 🙌😉 #instavideo#athomeworkouts

I’m usually a huge fan of leg day but this was a doozy with all the cardio combined with the burn🔥! These workouts are NEVER easy but they shouldn’t be!! If they were, they wouldn’t challenge or change me😉

Guys - I'm not gonna lie, this has been a rough month for me. I went through a 2nd round of fertility drugs and honestly, never again. I feel awful, not at all like myself, exhausted, irritable, pounding headaches, nauseous, moody, depressed... my body is so sensitive & not used to taking anything other than literally vitamins. I don't even take Advil unless I'm dying. Thankfully, it's almost out of my system.
Between that, traveling, anxiety, being sick for 2 weeks, it's sucked the life out of me and it's been so hard to find motivation to do anything. But by some miracle of God, I managed to workout the last 2 days, got in my superfood shake (that part is easy), and stuck to my eating plan... all because of the amazing support of our online challenge group 🙏🏻
My job is to motivate others, but sometimes, coaches need motivated too ❤️ Ready to crush our final week with them👊🏻
Sometimes you just need a pep talk from a friend. A reminder of who you are and what you love. A reminder that you can fail and still do great things, all at the same time. A reminder of all the big things ahead that you’re meant to be part of.
