BEAT BINGE EATING
I've noticed that so many people struggle with this, regardless of where they are in their fitness journey.
Binge eating is complex and I have a lot to say about this (too much for one post). But I will say these few tips that might help... 1. Be mindful while you eat. Don't eat in front of screens and try to enjoy your meal with others.
2. If you find yourself binging, take a minute to think about what you're doing and why. Don't label it as good or bad and don't beat yourself up about it. Just simply ask yourself what are the benefits (e.g. Maybe you're low in a certain nutrient) and what are the drawbacks (does it support your goals)? 3. Eat food that supports your goals first. Keep treats to the end of the day only and only after you have eaten all of your other normal meals.
4. Don't do damage control the next day. Starving yourself will lead to more binging. Start fresh and go back to your normal plan.
5. Don't keep temptations in the fridge at home.
6. If you are having heaps of cravings, commit to sticking to a plan for 2 weeks. This should help with breaking the cycle.
7. Don't ban yourself from eating certain foods or just take out a whole lot of things from your diet, replace them with healthier options that you enjoy.
8. Focus on the foods that you CAN eat, not the ones that you're trying to avoid.
9. Keep your self talk positive🦄

Tips:📝 Summer vs Laser 🔆
Here are a few tips on how to stay SunSmart this summer and a couple of questions I get asked about Laser🤗
Q: Can I still have Laser during summer?
A: Yes, provided the areas are not exposed to large amounts of UV for extended periods of time. Body areas that are not exposed such as brazilian or underarms are popular areas people continue to treat during summer.
Q: Can I get a Tan?
A: No, unfortunately it is not recommended you develop any extra colour on your skin. The reason being laser is attracted to the same colour in your skin as it is in your hair, therefore you are not being specific in treating the target(hair).This may lead to unwanted side effects or compromised results!!
You can however use fake tans to build a healthy glow, but these also need to be applied after a certain period of time after your treatment, and need to be fully washed off before your next appointment!
🧢Invest in some stylish cover ups, kaftans, board shorts and sarongs.
🕶 Slide on some sleek sunnies and a hat.
🏖Seek shade, don’t lay in the sun for hours (to be honest, there are that many amazing tanning products these days, there is no need to damage your skin with unnecessary sun exposure!)
💦Drink plenty of water
And last but not least...
🔆Apply SPF 30+ ⬆️
I personally use a seperate facial sunscreen designed for everyday use, and a seperate one for the body!!!
