Happy Sunday fun day everyone! Heading to the gym to get my lift in since I decided to watch movies and lay around all day (felt great) As we enter a new week, we enter new opportunities, more chances to better ourselves and the people around us. Remember to love yourself and do what you LOVE. It might take a while, you might have to work some jobs you don't like but do everything with PURPOSE. The journey can be a beautiful thing once you finally reach that final destination and get that feeling. 🙏🏼
It’s surreal that I can say I’m DBC Level 1 Certified! What a great weekend to meet people who not only share my beliefs in how to train people, but are now taking the extra step to changing the entire fitness and personal training culture.
Big thanks to @dzandertraining for guidance on how to approach athletes and my business. Also, what an awesome time it was to hear training from another engineer’s perspective in @donnieraimon
Thank you to @elise_dbcfit for help in training and going over specifics with me so that I could understand better. Even with this certification, I know I still have lots to learn!
Finally, I gotta thank @_corefit_by_jay for his teaching on cuing proper mechanics, as well as sharing his mindset on clients and training as a whole. I only look forward to learning from him and the rest of @dbcfit even more!
Applying more pressure. Rewind about 2 weeks ago 20lbs lighter my body said Qui this is way too much go lighter. Today 20lbs heavier my body is talking so much shiiii “is that all you got?” “Add more” “you’re lifting like a girl”....I laughed cause that’s how God look at us when we complain about the smallest things. “If you cry about this wait until I apply more pressure to your life!” GO HARD PPL, when the pressure is on ask is that all you got!!!! ✔️ Es muy importante que antes de empezar un volumen, consideres la importancia de tener un porcentaje de grasa bajo, ya que de lo contrario sería contraproducente, pudiendo agarrar mucha grasa. Entre un 12-15% de grasa al menos para iniciar, y luego no pasar del 18-20%. .
