Life has its seasons and though they seem to change just as quickly as they come, motherhood has taken its turns and twists but pulled us even deeper into our calling and mission. The demands, challenges and celebrations have grown us as people, sisters, wives and especially in motherhood. An intense gravitation is probably the best way to describe our desire toward learning and absorbing all we can for how to minister and discipline our mission field at home! As our eldest reach school age, we see our days and hours limited and want to sink into these years with as much attention and energy as possible, focused in equipping, discipling and enjoying them! All 6 (3 for each of us!). With this being said, our passion for fitness and nutrition still remains, but It just looks a little different these days (as you might have already noticed via our lack of challenge groups and sparse insta feed updates). We see the table as one of the greatest discipleship tools in our toolbox of motherhood, and you better believe we will be fueling ourselves and our kiddos to run on a mission for Christ both in physical and spiritual food at our dining table.
We see our bodies as “image-bearers” of the Most High and definitely want to steward and use them well- meaning we will keep active, challenge our bodies and encourage our family toward using our body to run most importantly toward Christ.
So if you are willing to continue following along this new season of Fit with Purpose - in our messy IG feed of food, fitness. faith and family- then High Five, sister! We will see you around between the everyday moments!
On our way to the last football game of the season. 🏈It’s been a long season and I’m incredibly proud of how dedicated he is to his sport and I’ve enjoyed the time I get to spend with him even if he has his headphones on 😂 I also have have so much appreciation for my parents who carted me and my brother to every game, race and swim meet for years! #santeeravensfootball#ilovehisface#footballmomlife#theydontstaylittleforlong
Ever since September it's been a huge transition in our home. New schools, new job and new routines. Nasty sick bugs hitting on and off. Anyways Brooks been adjusting to going to a babysitter everyday. She's my baby and i came home to find her sound asleep in my bed. I sat beside her for a few moments and I looked at her there resting peacefuly. It seems it wasn't that long ago when she was just a new baby, my baby. *' I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I 'm living my baby you'll be."* #cherisheverymoment#theydontstaylittleforlong#sheisherownperson#growing#daughter#beautiful#love
