my neighbor left this mirror on the curb when she moved out. I’ve wanted to put a mirror in this spot for months and I love the hexagonal shape of this one. I already moved the hardware on the back so it could hang in this direction and fit the wall better. Next step is to get all the gold and the last plexi panel off. Then I’ll paint it white and see what it wants to be. #trashtotreasures#diyhomedecor#justmakemesomething#thriftystyle
🥜 Day 22 ! .
Today’s #ethicaladvent post is a link to a @thepooluk article which I just loved on the joys of charity shopping - the link is in my bio 👆🏼
I LOVE charity shopping, apart from the sustainability perks of second hand shopping I love the hunt, the rummage, the buzz when you find something amazing and of course the money saving factor!
@1millionwomen posted a statistic that if 1 mill of us bought our next item secondhand instead of new then we would save 6 MILLION KG of carbon pollution!! Incredible!
If you are new to second hand shopping or find it daunting I also have a blog post (link also in bio) which gives a few tips and tricks to get you going! .
It might be Winter outside but it’s Spring in my bedroom 🌺🌸🌺🌸😆
I’ve put my first blog post of the year up and it’s all about how to get the most from the sales without losing your sanity and saving 💸 Have a little looky if you can 😘
Ps Poppy chose this photo as she said I was doing my best 💃🏼 impression 😆
