I’m just sitting here after “grinding it out”(that’s gotta be the name of an R&B song) for 45 minutes, trying to take a sweaty selfie and Harrison’s being a major doucher and ruining my camera angles. .
After three days off I actually really enjoyed the ride. Sweating is the ultimate therapy so remember to breath in the positivity and breath out the bull shit. YOU’VE GOT THIS!!!
These are her favorite shoes. She picks them out everyday, and puts them on herself. Two different shoes. When it first started, I would try to convince her to put both shoes that matched on. But my fiercely independent, strong-willed and confident daughter wasn't taking any fashion advice from me. This is a girl who knows what she wants, does what she wants and makes no apologies. I've always said she is one of the people in my life who I have learned the most from, and she's a whopping two years old. She challenges me, shows me a different way of doing things and makes it impossible for me to be selfish. She is her Daddy's clone, personality and physically. She is an animal lover; completely obsessed and stops at every dog for a hearty laugh, a hug, a kiss and a "you're a good boy!". She's completely salty and wants nothing to do with me one minute and the next, she's all sugar with a huge, tight hug around me neck, her hands caressing my face and a whisper in my ear that says, "I love you, Mama. You a good Mama." She is amazing. She is her and I will encourage that always, and take notes. She is Charlotte. And she's all mine. Thank you, God. ❤️
The other day, my local Starbucks barista treated Miss Kira to a kids steamer with a chocolate drizzle🥛 🍫 and made her feel so special before her afternoon at preschool ✌🏻 obviously she very rarely gets this royal treatment (her own cup) from mom! I guess you would call this a #starbucksmoment ⁉️

How exciting it is when your little one comes up with an activity all on their own! Ok, I’ll take a little credit here, but Bean was certainly responsible for spilling the dog food all over the floor. I just provided the tongs for clean up. It took her a few tries to figure out how and where to squeeze the tongs, but it was pretty neat watching the wheels turn! I’m always in favor of teaching clean up. Bonus points if it also works on something like fine motor skills. 💯 #birdieandthebean
Today is my birthday and I'm a whole year old; notice I didn't say new. Wow, it has been an awesome year of learning. My one year check-up is next Friday but according to my parents I'm a 29ish inch tall, 20 lb 6.4 oz smiley, giggly, smart little lady who is obsessed with her paci. I can't sit still, I like to run all over the place as you can tell from the photo. I can show you that I am one, I'm repeating things you say, I can identify lots of different objects and make noises that they make (if they make any). I'm a great eater, some of my favorite things are green beans, blueberries, applesauce, chicken sausage, greens, grilled cheese, pancakes, strawberries, raspberries and yogurt. I love salsa on my quesadilla, but I'm still not crazy about avacado and I don't like peas. I have eight teeth, and don't like to let my parents look to see if there are more. I like to wake up 1x during the night but mommy doesn't mind, she likes to feel needed. I'm a social butterfly who LOVES reading, playing with my toys, snacking and racing up the stairs - go, go, go. I love bath time but really dislike getting my diaper changed, why do they have to make me lay down for that? Don't they know I have things to do?! I started napping better in my crib a few weeks ago and two weeks ago they let me start sleeping with Ghee (my giraffe lovey). My parents did a stellar job this past year, I can't wait to see what they have up their sleeves for me next! Xoxo, Natalie Paige .
I’ve lived in San Diego for 7 years and have never gone into the many museums at Balboa Park until this year. Would never have guessed it would be such a fun activity with a toddler so we’ve been taking advantage of Free Days for San Diego residents every Tuesday. The @sandiegomuseumofart has a cute #fridakahlo exhibit for kids right now and the Model Railroad Museum is toddler heaven! | #babyboston#19monthsold#momlife#motherhood#toddlerlife#sandiego
