Dubai is futuristic. The city is mesmerizing, and the disparity between rich and poor is quite possibly unparalleled. It’s not really our style, $20 beers and cars that rival the worth of a house back home. But you dabble, rub shoulders with the unfathomably wealthy just for a moment, just to experience it, just to remind yourself how ridiculous it all is. Travel is about experiences, that’s just another tick.
Sitting at the beach bar with a $30 cocktail, mind wandering that you’ve been just as happy with a $1 beer in that same hand, swinging in a hammock. It feels a bit empty, you know this isn’t the moment you’ll remember.
One day was enough. The adventure itch needed scratching and that wasn’t doing it. We rented a car, woke up before dawn and drove into the desert to find an abandoned airfield we heard about. The coffee + adventures sweater really lived up to its name that morning.
We were promptly escorted off the premises after this shot so we spent the day wandering the desert, exploring local markets, and getting lost more times than I’d like to admit. Somewhere lost down a back street between dilapidated buildings, struggling to read Arabic road signs, I realized this is probably the moment I’ll remember.
Scratching another country off the map. The backpack is sitting at my feet and tomorrow I head to Sri Lanka.

Also leb dein eigenes Leben.

This is where we’ll rather be but we decided to be experience curators 😩😩😩. Right now all we do is:
1. Write articles daily which means surfing the internet for juicy travel gist 😋. 2. Have a well curated IG feed which means searching for beautiful inspiring travel photos, saving, editing, scheduling and it goes on and on.
3. Curate experiences to green passport friendly destinations which means constantly trying to market and sell destinations(we have 5 each year), on and off the phone with partner travel companies in these destinations, reviewing itineraries together, fighting design companies because our information guide gotta be on point, sending out mails to Nomads (Nomads in Morocco should have gotten their countdown mail ✈️👣), tending to Nomads needs (they are our babies, we don’t play with them 😊) and the list goes on. 👣
This path we’ve chosen gives us so much joy. The Maldives is going to have to wait 😊. 🌎: Maldives 🇲🇻 👣: @jamanafaru_maldives
Located at the back country of Queenstown is a gnarly, narrow, petrifying road that leads to Skippers Canyon. This road has been named as one of the most dangerous roads in New Zealand, but if you’re up for a scare then seeing this canyon should be on your bucket list because the views are incredible! Thank you to @nomadsafaris for a fantastic adventure !
