Gluten free vegan breakfast bars from the BRealFit Cookbook 👌 I got the inspirstion for this recipe from the always wonderful and consistent food porn producer @theglowingfridge 😍 and tweaked it in a few different ways to suit a few of my clients needs. Oatmeal again for breakfast! 🤤This time I made it a little simpler. I was more in the mood for just some plain old brown sugar oatmeal. I did throw in some chia seeds for some more protein. It was such a wonderful start to my day and held me fully until lunch time. No snacks needed! 🙅 The best part about this dish was I made it in about 5 minutes. So fast!! I paired it with a lovely cup of tea. 🍵 Breakfast is probably my favorite meal of the day because it can be so light yet so filling & always healthy. 😊🌱Recipe (very similar to the apples & cinnamon oatmeal I posted) 👇 ▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️
👩🍳 [Serves 1] 🍽 Begin by getting out a small pot of water. To the small pot add 1/3 cup of rolled oats, 2/3 cup of dairy free milk, 2 tsp of maple syrup, 1 tbsp of chia seeds, & 2 tsp of brown sugar. Let simmer on medium-low while stirring constantly. Once the oatmeal is at the consistency you would like top with a dash of brown sugar.

I did sort of a remix between a restaurant version we used to eat, & a random social media pic I came across sometime ago.
The filling is made up of sauteed mushrooms, an easy savory "taco meat" made with WALNUTS 🙊😰 (yes, Walnuts!! Nuts huh! 😉 lol), finished it off with a creamy cashew drizzle, some chopped green onions & a splash of lemon juice!

Lunch time panic! 😮
So it's all good to actually have time to prepare instagram worth meals, but sometimes 'ain't no body got time for that'. So this was made from staples in my fridge and cupboard that were still good after a weekend away. ( plus spinach)
1 can corn
1 can kidney beans
1 teaspoon each of garlic and chilli paste
6 cherry tomatoes
fermented cabbage (kimchi)
Took me 10mins to chuck together... 🖐But wait. . if you are trying to lose weight then although this is super healthy you still need to make sure the right amount of food is right for your goals. 🦄🏆🤸♂️

Our go to meal is a quick stir fry with any veggies we have on hand. 🥕 We were gone all weekend so it was nice to make a quick tasty meal last night. I used a carrot, green pepper, broccoli and mushrooms. 🤤 We had leftover sauce from eating out so I just used that teriyaki but you can easily make your own! 💪🏻 I made some brown rice in the pressure cooker to have with it. I always top my stir fries with some sesame seeds. You can't really taste them but it's great added nutrients! 🙌🏻 I'm ALL about good nutrient dense food. 😍
Just a little breakfast inspiration - DRAGONFRUIT RASPBERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL🌱❤ Sascha bought a dragonfruit and I didn't really know what else to do with it, so here you go - everything's good in a smoothie bowl. ***Blend frozen raspberries with soy milk and dragonfruit - make sure to keep some of it for the decoration though! Top it with chia seeds and coconut flakes.***
I was on the night shift for the first time last night. I'd been a little excited before, but actually there wasn't a lot to do. I was looking after a confused old lady so she wouldn't hurt herself by pulling on drainages and infusions. I'm planning on working night shifts during college. So excited for the classes to start!🌱❤
