We are checking in with what's grown.
What did we plant that has now grown, blossomed and fruited. What do we trim away? We give thanks. We take stock. We plan. 🍂🍁

This super light dish from @missblissau offered a fun play of creamy and crunchy textures. Being half Filipina myself, I could really appreciate how beautifully inspired it was by South East Asian dessert flavours 🔥
The fresh green sweetness of the grapes and subtle wasabi-style heat of the mango jam juxtapose the richness of the coconut cream, while the crunch of the roasted coconut, activated buckwheat and almond slivers contrasts the dish's overall creaminess 👅
The fermented watermelon was a nice underplay of sweetness, while the pineapple chips and coconut jelly were plain fun to eat 🤸 • GF • RSF • DF • VG •
Friday nights are movie nights in my house. They're having pizza 🍕 I'm having veggie soup 🍲 (and using a pillow as a table lol)! It's not that I *can't* have pizza, it's that I choose not to for my health! I don't feel deprived one bit. It's all about finding healthy choices that you actually like and remembering why you're making this choice. 🤔 I'm all for treating yourself once in a while but doing that too often can interfere with your goals and your health. Choose wisely!
Preparing for my overnight shift with a ginormous green smoothie with my @amazinggrass green #superfood powder! My recipe includes spinach, kale, frozen mango, green apple, coconut water, and a scoop of the powder! Such a nice flavor!

Very white bowl today! Riced cauliflower stir fry from @traderjoes, young green garbanzo beans, sautéed cabbage, baked taro, and edamame. I've never had taro plain baked but it's delicious! So light and fluffy tasting ☁️

Has anyone else tried this juice from @costco? I've been drinking it the past few days, and it's interesting. 🙄
Some sips I can taste a specific flavor, and other sips I taste them all at once. The consistency makes me wonder if perhaps there's a thin puree blend mixed with the actual juice. It's not bad...just different. 🤔

I know I post about being positive and grateful 🙏🏽 all the time but I have bad days too. I felt completely overwhelmed today and spent a good chunk of it crying 😭. Everything is temporary including feelings. I know this will pass. Even in bad times there is always something to be grateful for.
