Accurate depiction of how happy I am that it's Fri-yay!! It's been another long busy work week & I'm excited for a weekend filled with family gatherings & a girls slumber party lol!! Also to clean my house which is a complete mess right now! What are you guys up to this weekend?
On another note, this place is so much fun for a nice little nature outing with so much to see & explore. Great for families or a romantic outdoor picnic on the beach with your loved one. The location is about an hour away from Tacoma in the cute little town of Seabeck. The drive goes by fast in my opinion & is beautiful with mostly long secluded forested windy roads & water views. There are lots of little trails to explore, a rocky beach with a stunning view of the Olympics, and the star of the show...a super cool little stumphouse (swipe left for stumphouse)! There's also tons of green corridors, a board walk, & huge tree stumps like this one making for the perfect photo op. I felt like a little whimsical forest fairy in this pic lol, I only wish I had brought the perfect outfit for it. Anyways, if you wanna learn more, you guessed it...check out my latest blog post! 1. Knee Breakers
Great way to improve ankle mobility. Keep your knees directly over your toes and maintain an upright position. You’ll feel the front portion of your shin be on fire if you lack some of the necessary muscles
2. Depth squat - Bottom to Top
A great variation to help improve pelvic floor function and eliminate a buttwinking issue if you have one! You should notice improved torso position and squat depth!
3. Goblet Squat with Pulse
Here we work with a knee friendly squat variation that helps with core activation from a distance position. Great for working on squat form and depth!
4. 3 Point Groin Stretch with Thoracic Rotation
The exercise is great for those whose knees may cave in due to tight groin/adductor muscles. Adding the Rotation opens the upper back up if you’ve been stiff and can create a deeper stretch in the groin!
5. Squat Roots with Overhead Reach
Here we get a lot of bang for our buck. You create an isometric warm up for the squat position, you also get a groin and hamstring stretch. Great for a warm up and working on squat form/depth. Make sure to keep your back straight and feet flat.
