Why do I use it?
➡️Tumeric contains a compound called curcumin
➡️Curcumin has great anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, HOWEVER, it is not easily absorbed by the body ➡️Consuming Tumeric with black pepper drastically increases the absorption rate
THINK: decreased inflammation = decrease in SO MANY diseases that are caused by inflammation
➡️I put Tumeric in smoothies, eggs, stir fry, etc..

-2.8lbs in one day.... from drinking a lot of water and not eating like a piggy 🐷! I will definitely be back to meal prepping this week as it 100% keeps me accountable (Does meal prepping suck and take effort? Yaaaa.. but it is SO so SO worth it, for me anyways!!!)

Whenever someone eats more than they were intending to eat, the first thought they often have is this...
1️⃣"OH NO!! I messed up on my diet!!"
And from there, a common follow-up thought will be this...
2️⃣"Now I've ruined everything and destroyed my progress"
3️⃣"Since I've already messed up, it doesn't matter if I mess up even more because today is now a lost cause and none of this matters. Time to binge."
- 👉🏻Now, while there is A TON of stuff wrong with this scenario, the most wrong thing of all is the initial thought that occasionally "messing up" is going to have any truly meaningful negative effect.
✅Because, as long as you get right back on track with your diet rather than letting a few hundred unintentional calories turn into thousands, or a bad meal turn into a bad day, or a bad day turn into a bad week... NOTHING BAD WILL ACTUALLY HAPPEN AT ALL.
Don't believe me? I'll prove it.
✅You'd have to eat (*approximately*) 3500 calories MORE than your maintenance level in order to gain 1 pound of body fat.
👉🏻So, let's pretend your maintenance level is 2000 cals. You'd have to eat 5500 cals in one day (something many people couldn't do even if they tried) to even gain 1 teeny-tiny pound of actual fat, let alone the "tons of fat" most people think they gain when eating what is often just a few hundred calories more than they were supposed to.
⭐️Which is why the next time you "mess up" and unintentionally overeat, stop yourself in that moment and realize that A) no significant damage has occurred, and B) as long as you get right back on track with your diet instead of letting the above scenario of illogical thoughts play out, you'll probably still end up LOSING FAT this week.
Back Day is one I've struggled to get good mind-muscle connection for a while. I may be able to sprint and run long distances, but pull-ups are still a work in progress 💪🏼😬 (and that's fine!) ----------------------------------------------------•Part of the benefit to creating this 8-week workout program is I haven't skipped any muscle group even if it's not my favorite. I woke up so sore last night in my upper back, so I'm pretty confident this tri-set is to blame! 90 assisted pull-ups did me in 🤕
-----------------------------------------------------I repeated this three times in circuit 1 for a total of 6 rounds (and that was just part of the first circuit 😫)
Weighed in this morning at 209.8 lbs!! Meaning I lost 2.4 lbs this week 😊 only 10 more lbs until I'm in the 100s which is INSANE!!! I honestly haven't been this weight since middle school (about 7 years ago)
