Pizza Friday! 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕My sister and her family came over tonight and we made personal pizzas for everyone. My boyfriend, sister @casey8627 and I used the pizza dough recipe from @mybizzykitchen , which I actually made on Sunday just for tonight. I split the dough into four 4oz portions to make 4 personal pizzas. My pizza was 8sp total for the whole thing!
Pizza dough (6sp)
1/4c. Reduced fat mozzarella (2sp)
Mushrooms, marinara, spinach (0sp)
“The only difference between you and the person you envy is that you settled for less.” 💕
On the left, my son was about 1 month old. He was this perfect blessing, and I was this lifeless blob. It was so, so, so, SO hard to start this journey. I felt like the odds were stacked against me. I felt like there was no way I could do this with so much weight to lose (guys, I was almost 300lbs #realtalk & I am only 5”3’ sooo imagine that)
Fast forward about 14 months and I am the lowest weight of my adult life & I honestly could not be happier. I still have about 60lbs to goal, but the difference is I KNOW I can and will get there.

Dinner 😋! Quesadillas 🧀 and sour cream/hot sauce for 16SP. Really not sure what to expect at weigh-in tomorrow 🤷🏻♀️. I have had blue dots 🔵 Sunday through Friday, but my at-home weigh-ins during the week have not reflected that in the slightest (in fact, I have been up🙄🤷🏻♀️). If I didn’t weigh-in almost daily, I would be expecting a bigger loss tomorrow (like I have been having), so I’m glad I am mentally prepared for a small loss/maintenance/potential gain. It makes no sense, but our bodies are weird 🤦🏻♀️. Just because my body is hanging onto this weight I don’t need doesn’t mean that I’m not making progress. I’m trying my best, and my food tracker absolutely reflects that. I’m human, and of course I will be bummed if I maintained...I’ve worked so hard! But I know this is just the beginning of my journey; you ain’t seen nothing yet 💪🏻. Have a great night everyone! 💓☺️ #ww#weightlossjourney#weightwatchers#weightloss#wwfamily#wwarmy#wwsupport#wwladies#wwsmartpoints#wwfreestyle#wwillinois#wwchicago

7 hours of meetings followed by 11 planned hours of travel that is on target to become 15+ hours of travel.😮
A few years ago this little blip that shouldn't even be considered a setback would have equated to failure in my mind.
And, what would I have done with the failure, given up!😯
But, my mindset has transformed so much over the past several years.
This blip is a SUCCESS! What?!?!
1) I had my foods packed. The only food I got at the airport was a blonde flat white (espresso & milk) to celebrate my extended stay in the airport.
2) I walked a few laps in the terminal just to get my body moving a bit.
3) I haven't stressed about the daily...I've had a little fun with it!
4) I re-figured my work-out plan to finish out week 1 in track and it does NOT involve me doing Day 5 when I finally get home at 5am after being awake for 22 hours.
This is life. This is reality. Plan and prepare. Don't sabotage yourself. But, when life happens, make the best decisions possible for your overall health and wellness (physical, mental, emotional). Don't throw in the towel! But, also...don't think that success is only possible if you contort yourself, your day, your life into perfectly exercising and eating WHEN doing so would mean ridiculous behaviors to get it done on that particular day.
Remember: sleep / self-care are important too!
Made @dailydoseofpepper Italian style sloppy joes for dinner! So good! Initially planned to use one point Bread, but after reading some comments decided to splurge on the Texas toast. Totally worth it!! We used ground chicken breast making them 5 SP each! #dailydoseofpepper#weightwatchers#wwmoms#wwsisterhood
The first place you can always tell I’m losing weight is in my face. Whenever I lose the weight in my face, my dimples show up and my dimples are one of my favorite features because they remind me of my mom’s big dimply smiles. What’s one of your fav features? Let’s love on ourselves! 😍 #facetofacefriday
Happy #chipotlefriday 😍💃🏽🌶
I tried to make my burrito bowl prettier by putting it in a nice bowl but I don’t think it worked 😂
This is 10sp — I have brown rice, steak, fajita veggies, salsa, lettuce, and 1oz of TJ’s lite mozzarella that I added at home.
It's funny how your priorities change.
Back in the day, I would've been drunk right now from happy hour. Now I'm rushing home from work to push play so I can make it to my nephew basketball game.
Today's workout was Leg day and I have to say that I ❤️the burn.
It's the weekend and this is when it gets hard for EVERYONE.
Junk food you've craved for an hour or the body you've craved for a lifetime?
Roasted 🥕 carrot and parsnip fries are soooo yummy!!! I just don’t understand why parsnips are so high in points though?!? I dipped these in a lemon tahini dressing that I had leftover from a cauliflower salad a few days ago. Yummo! The app says my fries are 5 points a serving, but I think thats bologna! Would rather call them 3 points 😉🤷♀️ #ww#weightwatchers#wwcommunity#wwinstagram#wwfamily#wwsmartpoints#wwgeorgia#wwlife
wanted pizza but had leftover Greek chicken so I made a Greek pizza and it was DELICIOUS! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Also look at the crust on this bad boy! Cooked it in my cast iron and then finished it in the oven! If you have a cast iron you should try it! This is how I used to make my 2 ingredient crust when I first tried it and I need to go back to doing it! 😋
@sabra spin/parm dip 1sp
@greengiant sweet potato/cauli rice 2sp
How 'bout a little #facetofacefriday action? 2014 ➡ a couple weeks ago. I had already lost some weight by the time of that pic and felt great in that dress. But see the way my hands are resting on my large midsection in that first pic? I was always so uncomfortable pretty much no matter what. But not today. Now I feel awesome! And do we even need to talk about the confidence it takes to rock my natural hair?!? 💯
Thank you @weightwatchers for helping me change my life!
In all seriousness....
As new people enter the gym these next months let’s help them out.
Im pretty sure we all, at one point in our lives, have bit off a little more than we can chew in the gym.
Then, when that doesnt work, just decrease the weight or the difficulty by just a little bit to see if we could still get it. •
This thinking is so backwards. Its unsafe, and is just a set up for something like this to happen again.
Start at the easiest level and do that correctly. Then progress without sacrificing form.
Beginners need to train like beginners. Lets be smart and help the new members out, so stuff like this doesn’t happen!
