My ab circuit for the day, starting with negative hanging leg lifts, focusing on controlling down, and doing whatever it takes to get back up lol. Then these stiff leg ab pulldowns, don't know how I feel about these but just keep the focus on neutralizing the lower back by drawing in your belly button and tucking in the hips to have a even pelvis. Then finished off with trx plank twist. 5 ways to grow your glutes FASTER:
1) Program according to your needs. This means, not doing or avoiding exercises because you think you should. Your program and training should be 100% specific to you.
2) Undulate the rep range that you’re working in. Working for 15-20 reps every workout is not king. Neither is floating in the 4-6 rep range. .
3) Work in an RPE of 8-9. Rep range LITERALLY means nothing if your RPE is shit.
4) Don’t undereat. Growth takes time. You can “bulk” for a few weeks and think you’re going to build. Commit to the bulk.
5) Incorporate paused reps, eccentrics, AMRAPS, and drop sets as needed. Too many times people use a the excuse that a weight is too heavy to incorpate. Well it should be heavy. It should make you think it’s heavy. If it’s not challenging, you’re basically going through the motions. Even lifts at 50% 1RM can be made difficult. There are so many ways to challenge yourself with light to moderate weight. It’s up to you if you want to.

All black errrythang at the gym last night!! The past 2 days this week I have had the BEST workouts that I’ve had in a LOOOONG time!!! Let’s get 💯... Over the past couple months I have felt out of it completely... Off my clean eating, drinking and doing what i want, Managing 2 gyms, running a haunted house all of October, trying to figure out the next move for my clothing brand, and other business options, and moving to a new apartment during November, and now having to move to my own apartment before January (I’ll explain that situation on another post)... I HAVE A LOT GOING ON, but you know what... I took a step back and was like “Jacob you got this!” I’ve recently picked up my vlogging camera and been on the grind in and out of the gym! 2018 WILL BE MY YEAR!!

A little more body movement than I'd like but I got 7 reps with 135 lbs. The goal is still 10 reps. I need to do a better job locking my core and keeping a slight bend in my knees. Identify mistakes, practice and keep getting better.🔥

I know I said something similar in a previous post but there is a reason I disappeared for awhile. I thrive while working under pressure and. I have always been able to shit out the things that come as distractions such as social media, or in terms of my sports background, the noise of the crowd trying to get in my head. I want the ball when it’s crunch time. Same goes with my work life. I WANT to be among the few making sure everything is running as smoothly as possible. I’m quick on my feet, solve problems quickly, and see signs and how to fix problems before they happen through organization. I decided to shut down the majority of my interactions with unfortunately many people outside of work during the past month. Not because I wanted to, but because I realized the need. I then took the last week to catch up with a good majority of people and spend some me time after working many many 18+ hour days back to back 7 days a week. I should be back and ready to rock now! Clear headed, rejuvenated (I didn’t even lift for 2 straight weeks at one point) and ready to rock the rest of this year and all of 2018.
