Taking advantage of this weather and took cardio outside today ☀️🌿 during my run found stairs so definitely had to stop and incorporate a little circuit
Besides a good sweat, uphill sprints benefit the heart, lungs muscles and skeletal system as it activates the entire body. Not going crazy on cardio right now but keeping it in my training to maintain a healthy overall weight
P.s I cracked my phone in the making of this 🙃 soooo now to stick with iPhone or switch back to Samsung?! 🤔
•uphill sprints •alternating step jumps •step jumps
Pull-ups are in our latest Mesocycle. Using bands, suspension straps and other specific conditioning elements can ensure everyone of various levels can improve this skill over time. All it takes is some patience and dedication.

Yesterday Maegan (@mae_knight) described me as if she was describing me to someone else and the first word out of her mouth was "kind" and I've been thinking all day about how that's literally the best compliment I've ever gotten. In middle school, I had a poster that I made that said-
- "for beautiful eyes, look for the good in others. For beautiful lips, only speak words of kindness. And for poise, walk with the knowledge that you're never alone." - Audrey Hepburn 👑 -
Thx for the pic @sav_knight 💗💗💗
Could. Not. Bring myself to go to the gym this morning so I told myself I would go for a walk instead. Ended up doing a little leg and butt burner. Sometimes I'm awesome unexpectedly 😉😂 I only did 15-20 reps of each of these exercises one time through...but I dare you to do it 3 times through. 💪🏻👊🏻
Got a response to my story yesterday saying I didn't know you had TWO dogs. And I was like actually, THREE🐶🐶🐶 The two little guys are my parents' and the big teddy bear is mine ❤️ If I could just eat, pet dogs and workout for a living I would... but (for right now😏) they're just part time gigs. I'm SO thankful that MY coach @oliviaallyssa reached out to me about fitness coaching because I get to do what I already LOVE and even make some extra cash so I can spoil these three ⬆️ Whether you wanna talk workouts, coaching, dogs or WHATEVER I'm ready to chat 💭
Over here Sending you all of the positive vibes this Thursday evening as I get ready to sit at work for the next 6 hours and thinking about how happy I am that tomorrow is a day off 🙌🏼🌞🍁🍂❤️
It's amazing what can happen when we stop stressing about every meal, calorie, workout, time, intensity and just focus on loving our bodies instead of punishing them! Yesterday I took the day off from studying, and even though I worked in the morning, it truly was a day I practiced self care and self appreciation, and it was also the first day in probably 5 days where I didn't wake up bloated and feeling lethargic! Same meals, same food, LESS stress.
So I wanted to share how I'm planning on practicing self care and taking care of my body EVERY day moving forward 💛
1. Drink more water, don't let myself get hangry by eating mindfully and until I'm full (not stuffed and less stress eating), eat all the veggies and micros and fruits because I KNOW I feel my best when I'm doing that. Not letting myself overthink my meals (this still takes active work for me to fully listen to my body), challenge myself more and more, and KEEP eating lots of carbs, so my brain, body, and tummy all can function optimally!
2. Workout to how I'm feeling, take a step back when I need it, walk more, get outside more, continue to write my workouts to motivate myself, but rest when my body needs it! I've been sticking to about an hour in the gym 6 days a week, but no pressure on myself. If I'm getting my heart rate up, feeling my muscles work and letting myself push but also respect my body I know I'm doing what I need to do.
More tips to come 🌸 Hope everyone has the best night 👍🏼

Dinner tonight!!! I'm eating a cup of the Riced Veggies, the Healthy Choice meal (which is 180 calories and is so yummy!) and 5 oz of Tyson grilled chicken! I love meals like this because I can eat a lot of food for minimal amount of carbs and fat but still get lots of protein💪🏻
