I'm in a hotel room near Cancún airport. Today we are going back to Italy! We just got notified that our flights have been changed, so we need to wait until the evening. Which means a lot of time organizing photos from our Mexico trip! So many of them!! This month has been very productive photography wise and I'm so happy about it. Where are you right now? What are you doing!? ❤💞❤💞❤💞

Tomorrow is our last day of Maty Ezraty’s teacher training. A bit sad, but excited to integrate Maty’s wisdom and let it percolate into my teaching. Feeling very blessed and grateful to have had this opportunity to study with one of the legends of yoga.🙏🏼 BIG THANK YOU to my amazing hubby for holding down the forth and looking after little Phoenix over the last three weeks, whilst also renovating our home and somehow finding time to snap these great pics. You da best!💓 PS what do y’all think about my concentration face?

It supposed to be the last month of the year and I keep performing for the first time new poses each and everyday. This announces a sweet transition in my life and yoga practice. After almost 30 minutes of warm up, my bottom many times on the floor... I began to experience the flying process of Fire fly pose. I took this shoot from a video, I can only have balance with my crossed legs for the moment. But this pose awakened something... I will try it again later this afternoon. ✨✨✨
Day 14/30 of #NaughtyOrNiceYogi4 is Fire Fly pose or Tittibhasana.
This challenge is hosted by the inspiring Yogis:
@victoria.arvizu, @gabriella.dondero & @laurasykora.

The root word Buddha means to know, and is equivalent to the indigenous Evenki word shaman, “one who knows.” Knowing or wisdom was believed to be gifted by the feminine consciousness and her Divine elixirs. Buddha, as a womb shaman, was enlightened under a tree, in front of a river, after drinking milk given by a woman, as Venus was rising. This is the symbolic encodement of womb enlightenment, where a male shaman receives his wisdom and enlightenment from the feminine womb. In fact, old texts describe how Buddha attained his enlightenment through the Womb throne of the Earth Goddess. The throne was located at the mystical center of the world, the naval of earth herself.
The Tantric text Cakrasamvara Tantra candidly reveals that the secret to Shaktiyamuni Buddha’s enlightenment was “Sacred Union,” Maithuna, with his wife Gopa. In it Buddha discloses his Shakti teachings for advanced initiates, saying, “take refuge in the vulva of an esteemed woman.” The womb of the sacred woman was a gateway to the Earth Womb.
In Russia, the crone witch Baba Yaga symbolically encoded the embodiment of feminine womb power and immortality, who traversed both the full and dark moon, and included the male-female power within her magical flying mortar and pestle. The name for witch in Russia, ved’ma, comes from the word “to know” denoting a gnostic womb shaman. Her holy perch stove is symbolic of the womb of earth and the cosmic Shakti force that the male heroes must unite with or be destroyed by. (📸 image from @roseaura.ca )

Day 2/365 🏋🏻♀️ I went to the gym this morning with my fiancé. He used to bodybuild and he told me how to use the machines properly and which exercises I should do. For a while now I've wanted to start lifting (light) weights. My shoulders in particular are very weak, so today we focused on shoulders/upper back to start the process of building strength. I've always thought I was pretty strong, but today reality kicked my butt.
I did low weight, low reps for my first time and it was difficult. When we got home I pressed the button to unbuckle my seat belt and I felt it in my shoulder 😂 So today's yoga session was a gentle 20 minutes, focusing more in opening the shoulders. I'm looking forward to getting stronger and seeing what my body is capable of. #kelseyatpeace365#yoga#holistic#health
