COOK HEALTHIER

Bowl on the left made with
🔹180g regular mince
🔹1 tsp Oil for cooking
🔹15g Parmesan
🔹1 cup cooked pasta
.
🍝Save some cals by
🔸Replacing 1/2 cup pasta with zoodles (but still keeping 1/2 cup pasta!)
🔸Use less mince (100g) and choose extra lean
🔸Add 1 grated carrot, a fresh tomato and extra grated zucchini
🔸Start cooking with a small amount of water instead of oil
🔸Use a smaller amount of Parmesan (5g)
[both have tinned tomato, herbs, garlic, onion and chilli]

These school holidays my kids have wanted #snacks galore! How good is this for a healthy, satisfying and fun treat! Cucumbers sliced (and disguised as crackers 🤣) & topped with tuna and dill. I love using cucumbers as a substitute for chips and crackers these days...feel like I’m treating myself without the extra cals/carb’s/hidden sugars 🙌 a nice dip I like to make (especially with my cucumber crackers) is tuna dip. Just beat with an electric mixer 1 big tin tuna and 1 Philadelphia cheese until a dip texture is formed. Squeeze some lemon at the end, and yummo! 😋 #enjoy #bempoweredfitness #empoweringwomen
