"I want to make a few Birthday presents" she told me today. So she spent her own money to make these beautiful gifts. How amazing do they look? I love succulents so much. 😍And how beautiful is she? 13 next week, time has flown! 😪 Forever my baby girl though.
Because He is awesome! 🙏🏻 In our own strength there is only so much we can do. But when He takes us by the hand, and takes us on His journey, anything is possible. Be prepared for the supernatural! 🙌🏼 Key is to give the steering wheel to Him.
•3 things I did today to improve my health, wellbeing and mindset:
1️⃣ First thing I did after school drop off was hit the gym. I wanted to get my workout done and dusted so that I could do all the other things I had to do as a busy mum.
2️⃣ I got sunshine ☀️, actually wanted to sun bake, but my lawns were getting long and were overdue so I decided to mow them, in my sports bra, shorts and thongs. 💁🏼 Vitamin D, fresh air, exercise and my lawns look fab now. 😉
3️⃣ I stopped, and relaxed, actually had a PT client tonight and we did the sesh outdoors in the park and while she did what I told her to I relaxed and listened to the birds, felt the fresh air and focused on my breathing. It was so nice! 😉 She wasn't having the best day, but after the session she felt happy and her spirits lifted. The power of exercise, good company 😉, fresh air and vitamin D right there.
It doesn't have to be much, but everyday we have the power as to what we dedicate our time to and what our mindset is like. There are opportunities all around us... in our lunch breaks, whilst we're driving, doing the chores... all we need to do it stop and be deliberate with our thoughts and actions. Xx
Such a joy to watch her grow as she worships our Jesus. 😍 Since the age of 10 when she stepped up, overcame her fear and stood by her daddy on that stage to support him as he battled cancer. A lot can happen in 3 years, a lot can change and seeing her confidence rise and her singing and love for Jesus improve brings such gratefulness and joy to my heart. 💗Keep proclaiming victory and life over the lives of our children. Speak words of life over them and to them. Pray for them daily. 🙏🏻 The best is yet to come.

I get asked almost daily how I stay lean, especially after having kids! I can tell you that it isn't easy. It's defiantly not my genetics. My metabolism has slowed down dramatically after having kids and as I've gotten older. If I don't have control over what I eat and drink and the portion sizes as well, I put on weight relatively quickly. •80% of the way we LOOK is due to what we eat/drink and ALSO how much as well.
•20% is exercise. Weight training specifically, sculpts our muscles and gives us that toned shape we're after. •Making being fit and healthy into your LIFESTYLE will be much more effective and enjoyable when it isn't just another fad, diet or short term goal. •Drink 1liter of water for every 22k of body weight. •Don't weigh yourself, when you start replacing fat with muscle, the scales will probably increase. Muscle weighs MORE than fat. But you should start to see a decrease in cm. A body composition scan is more accurate if you're interested in knowing exactly how much body fat + muscle we have. •Be kind to yourself. Be realistic. Make small tweaks and changes so not to overwhelm yourself. And if you have a weekend where you fall of track and binge, get back up and keep going without being too harsh on yourself. We ALL do it, yep even us trainers. •Having a PT or Nutritionist help you is so helpful, esp is you lack motivation, need to be pushed and challenged, need accountability... the list goes on! Even us PT's have PT's. I have a nutritionist/naturopath to help me overcome food intolerances, sometimes we seem to be doing everything we can but struggle to get results to lose weight or overcome health issues and that's where having a professional help you and guide you is just crucial. 👌 •

You are ONE workout away from a good MOOD! It felt so incredible to be back at it today after 4 weeks off from heavier weight training. I've still been teaching my BodyPump classes, but have been unable to do my usual weight training in between due to illness, this season has been intense with the kids getting colds here and there and so have I. So this BodyPumper is back! My weights might be light to some at this stage, but this is my journey, and slow and steady wins the race. 💪 Most importantly, I am loving my workouts, and the feeling of seeing my strength increase over time is priceless. ☺️ So don't look around at where everyone else is at, don't compare yourself to others. This is YOUR journey. Their journey is THEIRS. 💪 The key 🔑 is to enjoy the process, otherwise what's the point? Today's pic brought to you by last weeks post BP workout, a sweaty but happy mess!
