Twelve Month Transformation - workshop 1 done! I'm so proud of our 60 Transformers - today we completed "Foundations for Success" - we transcended the false hopes of the dieting industry and set holistic and balanced goals for change, learned how to follow through and take the necessary steps to success, and clarified the underlying values we each want to cultivate. Both groups of 30 people did really well with great energy and questions, and I know we've started off on the right foot! WELL DONE TEAM 💪❤️😊 #timeforchange
Decluttering - I love it! @em_sparrow_ and I spent the day yesterday cleaning, tidying, and ordering the office. As we threw all of the unnecessary stuff onto the floor it dawned on me that this process is a bit like doing psychology - you deal with all the stuff that was there but you hadn’t attended to (or even realised was there) - throw it out, shiny it up like new, or rearrange it - it works better and you feel better afterwards too! Our little home office is transformed into a fresh space and is now ready with a new energy for your transformations!
2018 goal setting starts now!
Every year I do my Twelve Month Transformation program with the participants - and that starts with great goal setting. I love the process and always seem to reach them or come close - there is something powerful in the act of putting pen to paper and writing your goals down. Happy 2018 everyone - here's to ALL of our goals 🤔🏆❤️
One of our Twelve Month Transformation participants had this to say about her progress with exercise:⠀ "I got asked the other day how many times a week I go to the gym as this person wanted to start exercising. I made a point of explaining my journey starting with a few 10min YouTube yoga videos, that progressed into a few short walks, to longer walks, to running and now Crossfit 4 times per week. ⠀
It reminded me of @glennmackintosh's little demo of taking small steps and looking back every now and then to see just how far you've come. ⠀

Our Christmas party! At Weight Management Psychology we feel like we are boldly going where we have never gone before in terms of not only the messages we deliver but how we deliver them into the online and public spaces! While this is amazingly exciting and always worthwhile, it is also anxiety provoking and, truth-be-told, somewhat stressful at times too. @em_sparrow_ and I know we couldn't do it if we weren't blessed with such awesome people around us - we are ever-thankful and look forward to having a relaxing break and being back for a bigger, better 2018!
