Some people never get their due and @clintkamstra is one of them. The man, young as he is, is learning everyday how to be a better one. He’s done a great job helping us at 1924us and I’m happy to have him onboard both as a designer and as a friend to me and my family. Though he looks rather “cool” here, he’s quite the goof, and through his mistakes always manages to learn how better to do something. Everyday we fail is one spent learning how to fail better.
Thanks to you my friend, you’re quite the explorer of life and personality.

A portrait from my shoot with Hugh Hefner at the Playboy Mansion a few years ago for a cover of The Hollywood Reporter. While the mansion is known for lavish and lascivious parties, I was most interested in Hef's life as a magazine editor and cultural maverick. I photographed him at the table where he held a weekly backgammon game with his cronies, which was the kind of night I would have loved to have been invited to. I dropped some serious hints to him about my love of backgammon and he just stared at me like, "nice try kid" #RIPHef
