G R U N G Y P I R A T E // G Y P S Y ✖️
This is my second Halloween look 👌🏼❤️
I'm waiting for all my bits I have ordered for my super crazy detailed looks so I'm getting the glam ones done first .. easy us into the Halloween spirit easily 😂🙌🏼
This makeup can be used for a multitude of looks, pirate, gypsy, fortune teller .. it's very universal and you can make it as grungy or as sparkly as you wish ✨✨✨
I mean you could even wear this on a night out slightly toned down!🙈😄😍 you do you!🙌🏼😄
- P.S. my lips look like they are so uneven on the bottom but the shadow just caught me wrong 🙈😭😏
D E T A I L S ⬇️
(For your face do your normal base routine as you would if you were going on a night out) I used: @rimmellondonuk Wake me up foundation || @maybelline Age rewind concealer || @lagirlcosmetics Pro conceal in toast || @maccosmetics Oh darling highlighter || @anastasiabeverlyhills Powder contour kit#
This look is all about being messy and it eyes looking slept in - SO what you want is:
1. Black kohl eyeliner to use as a base and for your waterline
2. Black eyeshadow, purple eyeshadow and a warm transition colour (I used @urbandecaycosmetics Naked smokey palette and the vice 4 palette)
3. Glitter (I used at @karizmalondon Glitter & @urbandecaycosmetics Moondust palette)
1. Dark reddy wine lipstick - I used @occmakeup black metal dahlia
I wanted to write a dedicated post for #worldmentalhealthday but didn't quite know where to start quite frankly...
As a person who lives their life with limited mobility, who relies on only one functioning arm and has constant chronic pain every single day that prevents sleeping at night or even doing basic tasks and chores that are second nature to 99% of people - it's fair to say I suffer from my fair share of mental health issues - although most of you on here might not know it and might not see it, I spend a lot of my life as a person with a disability. 2 years ago I went from being a person who could do anything they wanted like going to the gym, going on walks, I could do anything - to being a person who struggles to boil a kettle and tidy my room without excruciating pain. I went from being completely able-bodied to being a person who needs to rely on the help of others for a majority of things in my life.
Most of you however will not know any of this - I have chosen to leave my injury and pain off my social media for the most part as I don't want to be the person who is known for and defined by an injury or an illness.
We all have issues going on and situations that we feel are running away from us or are ruling our lives but it is all about taking a minute (or 20!) to evaluate how bad really are the situations we feel are so awful about. So you don't have the house & the mortgage you promised yourself you'd have by 25; so you didn't get to go on holidays this year like everyone else - so what hunnies? Just because you don't have everything you want or feel you deserve right this minute doesn't mean you won't have it some day and if it doesn't come your way well then it wasn't meant for you - we all have have bad days and I am a prime example of someone who has more 'bad' days than good sometimes but it's all about picking yourself up and not letting those bad days define you. You are stronger than every single bad thought and bad day ❤️❤️
