Yesterday was so quiet at my house because everyone was gone......and I LOVED it! I was able start my goal setting process for 2018. Reflection is SO important. I spent a few hours praying and thinking and making my way through a workbook that helped me evaluate my life and business in 2017. In addition, I was able to identify what’s most important for me in 2018. I want to have that information in my head for a few days before I actually write my goals for 2018. 🌿
How about you? Do you have a process that you love? Do you even set goals? What seems to work best for you? 🌿

Hi there! For today’s #fridayintroductions I’m sharing my OWN Christmas photo for this year. Yes....this one made the cut for the front of our 2017 Christmas cards. And I may or may not be the shortest person in my family now. 🎄
This image was taken at @tuckers_farmhouse , which is a friendly, picturesque venue in nearby Green Cove Springs.
Getting my two adult sons there ON TIME (well, pretty much on time) was no easy task. But it was so worth it! 🎄
I had a good friend of ours there to press the shutter after I set up the shot. That’s way easier than doing the self-timer, I’ve found. 🎄
I’ll be sharing our actual Christmas card soon. And I might even share some of our “bloopers.” Comment if you’d like to see some of the ones that DIDN’T make the Christmas card.
I am busy tackling stuff on my to-do list this holiday season. I am trying to be intentional and not get overwhelmed. I still have many more tasks to go. When fear creeps in and I think, “What if I don’t get everything done?” I remember that it’s not going to be the end of the world. Plus I will have accomplished way more than if I ever had a list at all. And that’s a very good thing!

When Hurricane Irma rolled through Jacksonville a few months ago, it took down so many trees in our area. But THIS tree at @bowingoaks survived! And it is as stunning as always....a perfect backdrop. 🌳
Today is really special for my family. It’s the 10th anniversary of my husband being the senior pastor at Normandy Park Baptist Church. That’s how we ended up moving back to Jacksonville after being gone for several years. We have been SO blessed by our wonderful church family.....and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us in the future!
I’ve been busy with so many family sessions this season. 🎄 I’m loving all the shades of blue this family is wearing. There really are so many options for coordinating attire for big family sessions! Great choice!
It’s so easy for December to pass by as a blurr. With EVERYTHING going on, the days can seem to run together in eternal busy-ness. But I am determined to NOT let that be my story this December. I know God wants me to slow down and enjoy all of the days. And to enjoy Him! After all, Christmas is for celebrating Jesus’ birth. So who is with me? Who is ready to be intentional about enjoying this month and making time for the important things? 🌿
