Don’t you just love it when you’re walking towards your medical appointment and are only about five minutes walk away and they call you and say the doctor hasn’t shown up?
My blood was boiling for about 15 minutes.
Then I decided that stress and high heart rate wasn’t worth it.
So I decided that I would see the positive (believe me it took a LOT of doing!) and thought that it gave me more time to get a cup of tea before getting on the tube to the next appointment (don’t you love a two appointment day!).
So now I’m sitting drinking tea and reading a magazine.
And trying to get my heart to calm down . . . ❤️😉.
Pretty doors. I’ve been noticing them a lot lately. Maybe I’ll start I incorporating pretty doors in with the nature pics. What do you think? It’s hard doing flowers in mid winter! ❄️🌸.
My ‘best of my nine’ doesn’t look too pretty due to the text posts but it’s really nice to look back at some of my most liked posts.
They show the summer, autumn and days out.
They highlight the important message that not all disabilities are visible.
In many ways I don’t feel that I achieved much this year, especially in comparison to years past.
But I did create this account and I’m overwhelmed that so many people like it.
So thank you! ❤️.
Hope everyone is having a restful time in this period between Christmas and New Year!
I thought I had got away with no medical appointments during that time but no(!) I had an ENT appointment come up.
I’ve been having the feeling of tightness in my throat for quite a few months.
To my surprise the doctor decided to put a camera down my nose right there and then 😳.
It was rather uncomfortable and a tad painful for a few seconds.
But the whole thing lasted about 3 or 4 minutes so very quick.
The doctor said everything looked normal.
That the feeling was probably due to fibromyalgia and, after I explained what mcas was(!), that it could be contributing as well.
So it was quite reassuring to have the test.
Have a lovely New Year’s Eve whether you are going out or staying in (that’s me!). ❤️
