[Timbo Moans Time] I love Animal Crossing. One of my favourite game series, I love that it's so relaxing, that it teaches you that not everything can be rushed, the importance of coming back to a job over time to make progress rather than doing everything at once. It's charming and damn cute. So it broke my heart to see this in the mobile version. Already a game aimed at kids as much as adults has bombarded me with hints that I should pay for stuff, but paying to speed up the wait in an Animal Crossing game feels like a total betrayal of one of its core themes. It's like saying the next Call of Duty won't have Combat, or the next Ubisoft game won't have bugs. So far it's been a cute reuse of assets from the 3ds game but all its making me wanna do is break out my 3ds and play a true Animal Crossing as this game wears it's money grabbing existence on its sleeve (introducing itself as a "Free-to-Start" game). I'm gonna carry on poking at it, but I really feel if you enjoy this, don't waste your real money on it, get a copy of any Animal Crossing game and have the true intended experience. Oh and don't let kids touch this unless you want your bank card drained in minutes!
Desert Bus For Hope 2017 has been keeping me company while I work on some new D&D products. Next year I hope to send a bunch of goodies in to them to give away :D if you fancy supporting a good charity event and watch funny people lose their minds playing a boring as hell game, head over to desertbus.org :D
Just call me Hanz Timmer; epic music maker! I know its rubbish, I love toying with music creation programs but I'm far from musical myself XD it's my go to thing to do when drawing is going badly #music#escapism#sickchoons#garageband
